A Destiny 2 player shares a video where they solo the Zo’aurc, Explicator of Planets Raid encounter with outstanding Exotic, weapon, and ability combos. Destiny 2 is soon entering its end-of-support phase after the Monument of Triumph update’s release on June 9 and upcoming patches and hotfixes to solve lingering issues. Then, it has been reported that the game will keep on existing in its current state with no changes, and Bungie will face layoffs for up to 50% of its workforce.
Despite the update’s smashing success in terms of player counts and sales, Destiny 2‘s Monument of Triumph didn’t move the needle at Bungie or Sony, according to recent reports. As such, it seems that the game will indeed have to face end of support, with no Destiny 3 in the works. The silver lining is that all relevant builds now should remain equally strong forever, barring last-minute changes and fine-tuning to nerf outliers. What follows is that endgame builds capable of soloing Raids will most likely still be able to do so, including this jaw-dropping build.

Say Hello to Destiny 2’s Most Broken Warlock Build in Monument of Triumph
A Destiny 2 player and YouTube content creator milito shared a post on Twitter with a clip of their Warlock dealing otherworldly damage to Zo’aurc, Explicator of Planets from the Root of Nightmares Raid. The build is layered and includes three different loadouts that milito swaps between for different purposes. The ad-clearing loadout includes the Exotic grenade launcher Dead Messenger to unleash three Solar waves onto enemies, while using Heat Rises and consuming a grenade to take flight. The pre-damage phase loadout is only used to generate a miniature Titan bubble with the Exotic glaive Edge of Action to gain an overshield and get some glaive melee kills with Winter’s Guile equipped.
Finally, milito swaps to the main damaging build with Tractor Cannon Exotic for the weaken debuff and the Winter’s Guile Exotic gauntlets to gain a whopping 500% increase in melee damage. This is combined with the weaken debuff, the Warlock’s Song of Flame Super to gain increased melee regeneration, a One-Two punch shotgun to further increase melee damage, and the Solar Fulmination and Shieldcrush perks from the Hunter’s Journal Artifact. At this point, milito’s Celestial Fire melee attacks deal outstanding damage and proc equally incredible ignitions for additional damage, clearing the boss in just two damage phases.
This build is so strong that players can safely take it into Master Raids and Dungeons or Ultimate content. The build is all the more viable now because of all the artifacts in Destiny 2‘s Monument of Triumph update, which give it more variety. The Edge of Action glaive giving milito an overshield is important because it activates Shieldcrush, which provides further melee damage and melee regeneration, and it stacks with everything else.

For now, it seems unlikely that the official Destiny 3 petition will have an impact, despite the almost 400,000 signatures and the success of Monument of Triumph. The hope is that Destiny 2 servers will stay up for a long time, so that players can enjoy this incredibly fun and rich update for years to come.
