Destiny 2 Player Shares OP Solo Endgame Build

A Destiny 2 player finds and shares an incredibly powerful build capable of completing hard endgame activities and Raid encounters completely solo, deleting bosses and regular enemies alike. One could argue that there is a silver lining to Destiny 2 getting its final update in June, and that comes from the game being in a “forever meta” state, where good builds will be viable for years to come. In fact, the game will no longer receive updates of any kind, with maybe one more hotfix on the way in the coming weeks.

Recently, Bungie laid off Destiny 2 developers en masse, with 292 confirmed job cuts in the studio alone, and other layoffs affecting SIE positions and contractors. This, unfortunately, means there is no longer a dedicated team to fix issues in the game, which is why the hotfix that was supposed to come today, June 30, was delayed indefinitely. Still, the Monument of Triumph update brought back thousands of players, and despite the bad news, Steam numbers are not dwindling much after three weeks. For those who are still playing or looking for a reason to come back, there is now an incredible build to tackle solo endgame with.

Say Hello to Destiny 2’s Most Broken Titan Build in Monument of Triumph

Destiny 2 player and YouTube content creator milito shared a post on Twitter with a clip of their Titan using the Arc subclass and dealing almost 90,000 damage in the Shooting Range with a DPS of around 6,000 using Pulse Grenades, Armamentarium, Witherhoard, and a rocket launcher. The player then took the build to the Root of Nightmares Raid and managed to solo Zo’aurc, Explicator of Planets with it, albeit with a simple loadout switch before the damage phase. The build deals absurd single-target damage solo, and it uses the Apex Predator rocket launcher with Cluster Bombs for more direct damage and Collective Demolition to gain grenade energy on hit.

Then, the Touch of Thunder Aspect provides Ionic Traces when hitting enemies with Pulse Grenades, which the build spams to also reload the rocket launcher via the Armamentarium Exotic armor chest’s intrinsic Demolitionist perk. Storm’s Keep provides incredible damage via Bolt Charge, and Witherhoard weakens the boss with the Weakened Clear perk from one of the Artifacts in Destiny 2‘s Monument of Triumph update, Slayer Baron Apothecary Satchel. Finally, Thundercrash is one of the best damage-dealing Supers in the game, and milito uses it in their rotation to deal massive damage to the boss.

When clearing adds before the damage phase, milito uses the exact same subclass, but with different Exotics and weapons. In this case, they use the Dead Messenger Exotic grenade launcher to create three Arc waves from each shot, and they pair it with the Exotic helmet Precious Scars, which grants Restoration to stay alive easily during the encounter. It’s unclear what armor set bonuses from Destiny 2‘s Monument of Triumph or previous sets they use, though.

For weapon damage, one of the best is the new set from Spire of the Watcher, as it grants 7% extra damage with its 4-piece bonus. Another option, considering that Destiny 2‘s Iron Banner armor is introduced on June 30, today, is to use the 4-piece of this set to get more Super energy in a more crowded environment. The set provides Super energy after the Super ends based on the number of kills with it, so it’s not great against bosses with no adds, but it can be amazing in Grandmaster or Ultimate Vanguard Alerts. In fact, the build can be used in any solo endgame activity and pulls great damage and survivability.
