Destiny 2 players have found a way to farm quickly and efficiently all the new and reworked armor sets in the game from the Monument of Triumph update. Destiny 2‘s new and final Monument of Triumph update launched less than a week ago with a plethora of new content, and it has been a renaissance for the Bungie looter-shooter. Currently, neither Sony nor Bungie has commented about all the efforts made by players to show support for Destiny 2 or a hypothetical Destiny 3, but fans remain hopeful.
Destiny 2‘s concurrent player numbers skyrocketed with the June 9 update, to the point that the first day surpassed the launch of Edge of Fate and Renegades combined. Not only that, but the support is also still ongoing, with an average of around 130,000 players per day on Steam alone, and reports of over one million total players on June 9 across all platforms. This doesn’t come as a surprise, though, as the Monument of Triumph update is a love letter to all fans, with tons of new additions and quality-of-life fixes.

Destiny 2 Players Can Easily Farm Tier 5 Destination Armor Sets
As reported by YouTuber and content creator Duddits 2, the game now features a quick way to get all the new and reworked armor sets as Tier 5 drops. Destiny 2‘s Lost Sectors are the method of choice, as they can be farmed quickly and effortlessly within a few minutes, depending on what the rotation features that day, and they consistently yield Tier 5 weapons and armor sets. For the armor sets, players can easily get all the location-specific ones within the corresponding Lost Sectors, whereas some others remain locked behind Raids and Dungeons, as well as other activities like Crucible and Vanguard Ops.

Lost Sectors must be set to Master difficulty for this to work, and they can be farmed both solo and in Fireteams of up to three players. For those looking for all the armor sets in Destiny 2‘s Monument of Triumph update, this farming method only covers sets from each planet. These are:
- Wildwood set — EDZ Lost Sectors
- Seventh Seraph set — Cosmodrome Lost Sectors
- Exodus Down set — Nessus Lost Sectors
- Reverie Dawn set — Dreaming City Lost Sectors
- Dreambane set — Moon Lost Sectors
- Crystocrene set — Europa Lost Sectors
- Veritas set — Savathun’s Throne World Lost Sectors
- Thunderhead set — Neomuna Lost Sectors
- First Ascent set — Pale Heart Lost Sectors
Some destination sets can only be obtained there by playing the game, such as the armor sets for Kepler and the Lawless Frontier. For the Lustrous set, players can spend Legendary Marks at the Tenet of Bravery sculpture to buy Solstice Armor. Furthermore, for those looking for where Xur is in Destiny 2 this week, the vendor is in the Tower’s Bazaar and sells the Swordmaster armor set.

The new armor set bonuses and Exotic catalysts have been a huge highlight of the update so far, dramatically changing the meta of which builds are good and what they can achieve. Unfortunately, unless plans change due to players’ support, this is the final update for Destiny 2. The official Destiny 3 petition is close to reaching 400,000 unique signatures, though, and it’s clear that the community is being very loud about a continuation of the IP.
