Destiny 2‘s Into the Light update has boded extremely well for the health and prosperity of the game on multiple levels, with this free update introducing the Onslaught and Pantheon activities as well as a powerful range of weapons known as the BRAVE arsenal. These firearms essentially represent refurbished variants of a few popular legendary weapons from throughout Destiny 2‘s history, and give players some unique rewards to farm for in the horde mode-like Onslaught activity. The new Zero Hour exotic mission is one of the last pieces of content to come from the Into the Light package, and for many players, remains the final hurdle between them and the BRAVE title.

With the mission giving players only 40 minutes to complete it on normal difficulty, many fans have already beaten the mission and claimed their prize since it was released with Destiny 2‘s latest weekly reset. With many players now inevitably seeking to get the solo flawless on the new mission, it’s crucial that fans be aware of a bug that prevents successful players from actually obtaining their solo flawless triumph. Various players have identified this issue, though a post recently shared on Reddit by a user known as Clopfish greatly helped in pushing awareness of the bug. Players that go solo flawless on Zero Hour do receive both the solo and flawless triumphs individually, though the single solo flawless triumph is not awarded.
There’s not yet any evidence that Bungie is aware of the issue, though most of Destiny 2‘s more enthusiastic players are hoping for a swift response to the bug so that they can fill in their list of Into the Light triumphs as quickly as possible. Though some players have encountered various seemingly unrelated and rare bugs in the new exotic mission, players who haven’t yet completed the mission on the normal difficulty should certainly try and earn the pattern for Outbreak Perfected ahead of the release of Destiny 2‘s upcoming Final Shape expansion.
Is Destiny 2’s Outbreak Perfected Actually Any Good?
Outbreak Perfected has been obtainable in Destiny 2 in the past, though its real origins lay with the Outbreak Prime raid exotic that was first introduced with the first Destiny‘s Rise of Iron DLC. The weapon has long been regarded as an ideal pulse rifle in most activities and has historically proven to be a pretty good primary weapon to use for boss damage thanks to its exotic perks, though players with the weapon’s crafting pattern can choose perks for the weapon that best suit their own playstyles.
