A new Diablo 4 event is now available, having launched with a Halloween theme and an offer of unique rewards. The ongoing promotion is part of Diablo 4‘s Season 15.
The Halloween event arrived alongside Diablo 4‘s October 28 update, which introduced several notable changes to the hit hack-and-slash RPG. Among other things, the patch increased the maximum Prime Evil Splinter stack size from one to 99, addressing a recurring inventory-management complaint from Season 15 players.
Diablo 4’s Meat or Treat Event Is Back
Available Through November 4
The event itself is called Meat or Treat and marks the return of a Halloween promotion that previously appeared in Diablo 4. Its central mechanic revolves around Dungeon Shrines, which can trigger an additional surprise effect alongside their normal bonuses. These outcomes range from beneficial encounters to considerably more dangerous ones, with Blizzard specifically teasing Infernal Butchers, increased Treasure Goblin appearances, and “brave deadly tricks” that can pay off with extra rewards. Blizzard has not published a complete list of every possible Meat or Treat outcome for its 2026 iteration, leaving some of the event’s tricks and treats to be discovered in-game, an approach that is consistent with its past practices. Meat or Treat is currently scheduled to remain active through November 4, making it a roughly week-long addition to Season 15.
March of the Goblins Is Also Back in Diablo 4
The Halloween event is also overlapping with the latest return of March of the Goblins, another limited-time Diablo 4 activity that went live on October 28. Much like its name implies, the promo revolves around defeating Treasure Goblins to earn reputation across a 10-rank progression track, with rewards claimed from the Goblin Altar located in Kyovashad. Meat or Treat’s increased Treasure Goblin spawns should therefore make the two events particularly complementary while they are running at the same time.
The current March of the Goblins reward track includes Gold, crafting materials, Murmuring Obols, Gem Fragments, Runes, and Goblin caches, along with several more distinctive prizes at its upper ranks. These include the Regalia of the Sacred Creed mount armor and March of the Goblins Emblem, while the final Fedric’s Gift cache contains a Resplendent Spark and Runes. Previous versions of March of the Goblins have also offered a Resplendent Spark, giving returning players another opportunity to pick up the valuable Mythic Unique crafting material.
Like Meat or Treat, March of the Goblins is presently scheduled to end on November 4. That leaves Diablo 4 players with only a limited window to work through its reputation track, although the simultaneous Treasure Goblin boost should help speed up progression. Players aiming to complete it as efficiently as possible can also take advantage of Treasure Goblin farming methods before both promotions conclude.
