Diablo 4 is bringing back one of the franchise’s most popular NPCs with the return of the iconic Deckard Cain for the Season of Hell’s Legacy. As announced at BlizzCon, Deckard Cain has made an appearance in every previous Diablo game, including a previous cameo in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4 is Officially Bringing Back Deckard Cain
Blizzard has officially revealed the return of Deckard Cain for the next season of Diablo 4. The teaser trailer shows off a plethora of exciting content coming to the new Diablo season, including several remastered versions of classic enemies, armor sets, and more. The trailer is narrated by Deckard Cain, brought back from the dead to serve as a guide for the Season of Hell’s Legacy after having been slain in Diablo 3‘s main story. The season as a whole is positioned as a celebration of the legacy of the Diablo franchise, which marks its 30th anniversary on December 31. Diablo 4‘s Season of Hell’s Legacy is scheduled to launch on September 15.
