Zero Parades: For Dead Spies–a spiritual succesor to Disco Elysium from that game’s studio, ZA/UM–is arriving sooner than you might have expected. GameSpot can exclusively reveal that Zero Parades launches on May 21, initially as a PC exclusive.
At launch, Zero Parades will feature full English voice acting as well as text localization for English, Russian, Spanish (Latin America), Simplified Chinese, and German, with later updates also adding text localization for Traditional Chinese, French, Italian, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, and Turkish.
In a press release announcing the news, ZA/UM studio head Allen Murray emphasized that it took too long for full localizations to come to Disco Elysium.
“This time, we’re launching with five languages on day one and committing to a faster cadence,” Murray said. “Additional language support beings rolling out at the end of 2026 and continues through 2027. We want every player to experience Zero Parades in their language–and we don’t want them waiting half a decade for it.”
Later in 2026, Zero Parades will also launch on PS5. The game will also be Steam Deck Verified for playing on the go. As you can see in the official release-date trailer, its aesthetic is recognizable if you’ve played Disco Elysium, but it ditches the “detective RPG” moniker for espionage.
As a spy returning for a final assignment after a “catastrophic failure,” you’ll be looking for redemption, and ZA/UM says that failing dice rolls will only add to “your own unique story.” ZA/UM certainly has its work cut out for it, as Zero Parades is just one of several Disco Elysium spiritual successors we’ve seen announced.
