Disney Dreamlight Valley has revealed new content based on the Star Wars franchise, in the form of a pair of gowns inspired by Padme Amidala. Disney Dreamlight Valley features content based on a number of different movies, including Toy Story, Frozen, and The Little Mermaid. The cozy game has found a passionate audience over the last few years, in large part due to the amount of customization options it offers.
Last year, Disney Dreamlight Valley first started adding content based on Star Wars. Thus far, this has been limited to options found in the premium shop, including avatar items, critters, and decorations. The game has yet to offer a Realm based on the franchise or any characters that can move in. However, there are lots of Star Wars characters that would fit in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Pocahontas Addition Splits Gamers
Pocahontas joins Disney Dreamlight Valley, but her arrival sparks debate over nostalgia, representation, and the character’s controversial history.
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s New Padme Star Wars Outfits
Disney Dreamlight Valley players can now purchase a pair of gowns based on the ones worn by Padme Amidala in the Star Wars prequels. The Summer meadow ensemble is available for 1,750 Moonstones, and the Lakeside ensemble can be obtained for the same price. These outfits join the premium shop alongside the previously released BB-8 and R2-D2 companions, which both cost 3,000 Moonstones each. Attack of the Clones is considered one of the worst Star Wars movies, but it did add some memorable elements to the franchise, including both of these new ensembles.
The timing of this content in Disney Dreamlight Valley is meant to coincide with Star Wars Day, which always falls on May 4. Players can expect to see new content added to the premium shop on a weekly basis through May 6. In addition to Padme’s gowns and the droids, players will be able to acquire items that allow them to build an area based on Tatooine. It looks like a Landspeeder is on the way, plus another Star Wars-inspired building, as well as Moisture Vaporators. Pricing for these items has not been revealed, but Disney Dreamlight Valley players might want to save their Moonstones.
For a while now, some Disney Dreamlight Valley players have lamented the fact that there are fewer clothing options based on male characters. Those frustrations have been aired again following the addition of Padme’s new outfits, as players are clearly hoping for more. Star Wars has no shortage of unique outfits that could be added based on various heroes. In particular, the styles of Han Solo and Lando Calrissian would probably prove popular if offered.

Disney Dreamlight Valley added Pocahontas earlier this month, and the game’s next major update seems to be focused on Hercules. At this time, Gameloft has not revealed any of its plans for the rest of the year. A roadmap covering the next few updates should be released in the near future, offering an idea of what players can expect in the fall and winter months. With the game increasingly offering more Star Wars content in the premium shop, it’s possible that an update and Star Path could be offered based on the franchise. However, there are still plenty of other Disney and Pixar franchises that could also get that treatment.
