Console exclusive used to be the primary reason you’d buy specific hardware (and of course, which one your friends had). But as we wind down the current generation, exclusives seem to be less and less the focus for major first parties like Sony and Microsoft. Is the era of game exclusivity behind us? Or is it simply re-inventing itself?
