Dragon Ball: 5 Strongest Characters Too Broken For Super 2, Ranked

Dragon Ball Super‘s comeback is on the horizon, with the anime returning in the Fall 2026 season by remaking the “Battle of Gods” arc. Admittedly, we don’t really need to see a third version of Beerus vs. Goku, but this should serve as an appetizer for the main course: The “Galactic Patrol Prisoner” saga. Yes, Dragon Ball Super 2 will introduce the anime world to Moro, one of the universe’s most powerful and intriguing villains… if we only take into account the canon story.

Dragon Ball Heroes and Xenoverse have put the main series in a bit of a bind, as both games feature far stronger characters than anybody who appears in the official arcs. We have seen multiverse versions of Goku and Vegeta face off against beings that make the likes of Moro seem pedestrian, to the point that they can never be added to the canon anime or manga.

While I occasionally compare these characters to Moro, I have tried to avoid major spoilers for the latter; consequently, I’ll include a spoiler box if I cross the line.

All these Dragon Ball characters were introduced in games.

Sealas, The First Time Patroller

The Dragon Ball Villain Who Broke Through To Our World

  • Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission

If you play Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission on the Switch or PC, your ultimate goal is to take down Sealas, a tragic villain with one of the more interesting backgrounds in the entire multiverse. While ranked last in this article, he is the character that I want to see adapted into the official canon story. The Time Patrol plays a central role in Xenoverse, Dragon Ball Online, and Heroes, and Sealas was its first member, long before Trunks became its poster child.Sealas indirectly connects to the upcoming Dragon Ball Super 2 arc as a former Galactic Patrolman; honestly, they probably could have used him. After being recruited into the Time Patrol, Sealas began defending the timeline, but his sense of justice made him a poor fit as a passive witness to atrocities. He also turned against the apathetic gods who refused to interfere.

Moro poses a unique threat, but Sealas just operates on a different tier. He actually collapses the boundary separating the Dragon Ball universe and basically our dimension, as Super Dragon Ball Heroes‘ protagonist is a kid playing an in-universe game. Once he reaches his fused form, Sealas can only be defeated by multiple superpowered versions of Goku and two god-like players.

Super Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Xeno Vegito Is Fusion On God Steroids

A Fusion So Broken That It Just Cannot Become Real

  • Introduced in Dragon Ball Heroes

Vegito (or Gogeta) doesn’t appear often, but it’s always a good time when he does. Considering the brevity of his appearances, Dragon Ball knows that Goku and Vegeta’s fusion is simply too OP to be a regular presence in the story, and it needs to be reserved for moments when nothing else makes sense. Xeno Vegito‘s strongest form would slap his canon counterpart into another dimension without breaking a sweat.

What is Super Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker? Well, it represents the absolute peak of the Saiyan line. Achieving it requires a ritual similar to Goku’s initial Super Saiyan God transformation – 5 Saiyans lend their power to one person, in this case, Xeno Vegito. However, in this version, they transfer God Ki, allowing Xeno Vegito to bypass Super Saiyan 4’s limits.

The Moro arc plays around with Fusion mechanics and limitations in fascinating ways, but this version of Xeno Vegito renders all of them obsolete. He would literally break Dragon Ball Super 2.

Hearts Slays Gods, Not Wizards

  • Introduced in Dragon Ball Heroes

As anime-only viewers will hopefully learn in 2027, Moro has refreshing ambitions that set him apart from most Dragon Ball villains, and it should be one of the best parts of the saga.

CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORO’S GOALMoro views himself as a natural predator, with planets and mortals serving as nothing more than livestock. He seeks complete freedom from the gods, who locked him up for 10 million years, so he can feed his endless hunger.

However, Moro’s ultimate goal is not on the same scale as Dragon Ball Heroes‘ biggest villains, and that goes double for Hearts, who has a pretty similar purpose. This stylish “villain” seeks to free all mortals of the influence of divine entities, setting his sights on Grand Zeno. In another version of the story, he could be presented as a hero and eventually become Goku’s ally.

In his strongest form, Hearts creates massive crystalline meteors that can destroy planets, along with manipulating gravity in a way that lets him pin down the likes of Jiren, Hit, and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta and Goku. He makes Moro’s magic seem cute.

Demon God Mechikabura Trivializes The Moro Arc

History Tastes Good

  • Introduced in Dragon Ball Heroes

We are getting into stupidly OP territory now, and Demon God Mechikabura is so absurdly powerful that he feels like he belongs to an arc set decades after Dragon Ball Super. His backstory involves a failed attempt to become the Supreme Kai of Time, banishment to the Demon Realm, siphoning energy via Dark Dragon Balls, reclaiming his youth, and feeding on reality.

CLICK HERE TO LEARN ONE OF MORO’S GOALSMoro grazes on planets, while Mechikabura wants to absorb universes, time, and history. He succeeds, too.

In his Time Unleashed ultimate form, Mechikabura swallows history using a black hole-style attack, erasing entire timelines across the multiverse. That type of glorious nonsense needs to be limited to side projects like Dragon Ball Heroes, as how could the canon manga possibly one-up such a ridiculous goal?

Fu Makes Moro Seem Unambitious

The Most Important Dragon Ball Character (In Modern Games)

  • Introduced in Dragon Ball Online

When it comes to Dragon Ball‘s modern gaming lore, no other character is more important than Fu, and that includes Goku. Introduced in DBO and featured in Xenoverse 2, Fu also acts as the overarching villain of most of Super Dragon Ball Heroes. While his base form is definitely weaker than Moro at his best, Fu goes through multiple evolutions through his many sagas, culminating in a being fueled by the power of 12 universes and alternate timelines. In this state, Fu creates his own universe that he can govern at will.

Beyond just a fighter, conqueror, or liberator, Fu is a multiverse architect who 100% achieves his ultimate ambition, only to be thwarted by the strongest Goku form that will ever exist. He rewrites the cosmos, traps the gods, and accomplishes acts that put him on the level of Zeno. Moro is just not on that level.
