The Epic Games Store has officially announced Cozy Grove and Isonzo as its free games for March 12. Worth approximately $45 combined, the upcoming titles will mark the Epic Games Store’s third and fourth freebies in March 2026.
During the seven-day period beginning February 26, Epic was giving away My Night Job and Boxes: Lost Fragments. That giveaway formally concluded on March 5, with another promotion taking its place and Epic immediately revealing the contents of its next offer.
Steam Users Can Grab a Free Survival-Crafting Game Until March 5 and Keep It Forever
For a limited time, Steam users can claim and download a free survival-crafting game that is a hybrid of another popular genre.
Isonzo and Cozy Grove Are Epic’s Next Freebies
Next week’s offer will consist of Isonzo and Cozy Grove, two games that could hardly be any more different from each other. They will be available to claim between March 12 and March 19, beginning and ending at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET / 5 p.m. CET. Neither Cozy Grove nor Isonzo has previously been free on the Epic Games Store.

Isonzo is a brutal multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Dutch studio BlackMill Games. It marks the third entry in the studio’s World War 1-focused FPS trilogy, following Verdun and Tannenberg. Like its predecessors, the game emphasizes historically authentic combat, offering large team-based matches featuring period weapons, equipment, and tactics. This means Isonzo has plenty of pitfalls for players accustomed to modern military shooters, but it also offers a unique experience within the genre. The WW1 shooter has a 71 average score on OpenCritic and over 7,600 “Very Positive” user reviews on Steam.
Epic Games Store Free Games Right Now
The Epic Games Store’s other March 12 freebie, Cozy Grove, is a collectathon about camping on a magical island. Its visual style is reminiscent of the hand-drawn aesthetic of Don’t Starve, while the game itself runs in real time, similar to Animal Crossing. Gameplay unfolds through daily tasks that involve exploring the island, collecting resources, crafting items, and helping spirits resolve lingering memories tied to their past lives. Cozy Grove has more than 3,400 “Very Positive” reviews on Steam and an average rating of 74 on OpenCritic. Developer Spry Fox recently went through an unusual episode: the studio was acquired by Netflix in 2022, only to be sold back to its founders in late 2025. As a result, Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit will soon expand beyond the Netflix library, with the original game’s Epic Games Store giveaway possibly serving as a way to drum up interest in the upcoming release.
Before the March 12 giveaway kicks off, the Epic Games Store is giving away Turnip Boy Robs a Bank. Developed by Snoozy Kazoo, the 2024 title is a direct follow-up to Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. While the 2021 original was an action adventure, the sequel arrives in the form of a top-down roguelite shooter, still starring the titular boy turnip committed to pursuing a life of crime. Following the events of the first game, Turnip Boy joins the Pickled Gang for a heist at the Botanical Bank, which he is able to repeat any number of times.
Sticking true to its roguelite format, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is structured around meta progression, where every run yields new resources that can be used toward improving the protagonist’s survivability and combat ability, thus making future runs easier and more lucrative. That numbers-go-up gameplay is among the main reasons the game was praised as compelling by many reviewers, as reflected in Turnip Boy Robs a Bank‘s “Strong” rating on OpenCritic, based on an average score of 78 and a 75% reviewer recommendation rate. In addition to the wacky roguelite, the Epic Games Store is also giving away yet another item bundle for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms until March 12.
