Every Game You Can Buy That Comes With A Fortnite Skin Or Accessories

Every Game You Can Buy That Comes With A Fortnite Skin Or Accessories

Epic Games has run a few “buy this game on the Epic Games Store and get a Fortnite skin” promotions over the years, but it seems the Fortnite creator has decided to do a lot more of that kind of thing in 2026, starting in March with Resident Evil Requiem and Crimson Desert. Steve Allison, general manager for EGS, proclaimed in January that the company hopes to offer as many as 100 of these deals every year. That’s quite a ramp-up, since Fortnite has rarely had more than one or two of these sorts of promos running at once in the past.

A lot of these deals will offer skins, but some of these gaming collabs will focus on accessories–like Dumb Ways to Die, a mobile game, offering a back bling and an emote. While that particular promo has ended, you can expect at least some of the upcoming collaborations to be of a similar scale, particularly with cheaper indie games.

Before we look at what the collaborations actually are, let’s talk about the ground rules.

How these Fortnite gaming collaborations will actually work

The premise with these deals is that if you buy one of these games on the Epic Games Store, whether at full price or on sale, you will receive a cosmetic item or bundle of items in Fortnite. It could include a skin, an emote, a glider, or any other type of Fortnite cosmetic. This only works for purchases made through Epic, which is only on PC and mobile. Console versions do not apply, and neither does a game bought on Steam or any other digital storefront.

Everything included with these collaborations will also be available for direct purchase from the Fortnite item shop once they’re officially released. If you buy a skin that way, and then later buy the game it belonged to, you’ll get a refund in V-Bucks for the item. For example, if you buy the Grace skin from Resident Evil Requiem from the item shop, and then later pick up Requiem itself, you’ll get 1,500 V-Bucks back.

On the other side of it, if you purchase Resident Evil Requiem for the Grace skin, and then refund the game, you will also lose access to the skin. So don’t try to get cute with the clawbacks–it won’t get you very far.

Unlike promos like these that Epic ran in the past, which usually ran for a year, this new wave has no expiration date and will continue as long as the games are available on EGS. Regardless of whether you unlock a skin this way or buy it from the item shop, however, you’ll still keep the skin permanently even if the game is removed from Epic’s storefront. And since this is a long-term deal, you could wait until the game in question is available for a discount and still get the skin.

Now that we’ve got the rules out of the way, let’s look at what we’ve got.

The games

Resident Evil Requiem

Buying any version of Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games Store will grant you the Grace Ashcroft skin in Fortnite. Her accessories, if she has any, are not included with this deal, but they may be available from the item shop for V-Bucks later on.

Crimson Desert

Purchasing any edition of Crimson Desert from the Epic Games Store will grant the Kliff skin in Fortnite when Crimson Desert launches on March 19.

Honkai Star Rail

No Caption Provided

The Honkai Star Rail collaboration works a little differently than the other games because it’s free-to-play. For this one, you can unlock the Stellaron Hunter Blade skin (left) by making an eligible real-money purchase from the Epic Games Store. Eligible purchases include microtransactions that cost at least $12. The Stellaron Hunter Kafka skin (right) will also be available in Fortnite from the item shop, but she’s not included with this promotion–you can only buy her with V-Bucks.

Eligible Honkai Star Rail purchases:

  • The Nameless Glory ($12)
  • Honor Badge ($20)
  • The Nameless Medal ($20)
  • Special Pass Exclusive Gift Box ($15)
  • Oneric shards (only for amounts that cost $15 or more)

Borderlands 4

No Caption Provided

Buying Borderlands 4 on the Epic Games Store will grant the Mad Moxxi skin and her accompanying bundle of accessories, which includes a back bling and a pickaxe. Unlike the other games on this list, this deal has an expiration date–September 12, 2026–because the promo started last year before Epic began this new collaboration initiative.

Kernel Hearts

We don’t actually know what’s involved with Fortnite’s collaboration with this Argentinian indie title, which doesn’t have a release date yet. But the Kernel Hearts twitter has already begun promoting the collaboration anyway.
