There has been a lot of anticipation surrounding Fable. The franchise has become one of Xbox’s most notable exclusives over the years, and it’s been a really long time since there was a new mainline entry in the series.

Developer Playground Games has been working hard on the project, but Fable has been delayed multiple times now. That has only built the anticipation and made a lot of longtime fans even more eager. Even though the wait has been extended, there is a silver lining for hardcore Xbox lovers. The recent Xbox Games Showcase unveiled the Xbox Series X25, a limited-edition version of the console to help celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary. It may not appeal to every gamer, but pairing the console with Fable could be the perfect fit for fans who want to take the ultimate dive into nostalgia.
