A Fallout 4 player has made an impressive character creation based off of Ryan Gosling in his Blade Runner 2049 role. The Fallout 4 character creation uses no mods, so fellow fans may be able to find some inspiration here for their own versions of Ryan Gosling.
Ryan Gosling has made waves in films, recently achieving critical success as Ken in the Barbie movie. However, the actor’s dramatic work has also received praise, including in Blade Runner 2049, a long-awaited follow-up to the original Blade Runner film from 1982, where he played Officer K. Both of these roles have also led to some iconic memes on the internet, so creating a Ryan Gosling lookalike in Fallout 4 isn’t that farfetched an idea.

Fallout 4 Next-Gen Update 2 is a Hit With Fans
Bethesda releases Fallout 4’s next gen update 2 to positive critical reception from fans of the series, who praise the update for its various fixes.
Fallout 4 player OneAboveAII showcased their creation on the Fallout subreddit, gaining praise from fellow fans, some of whom could barely believe it was done without mods. While the face has a strong resemblance to Ryan Gosling in general, the player leaned into the Blade Runner 2049 references, compiling some comparison images of the in-game version of Gosling and the film version of him. These include a version of the “You Look Lonely” scene, as well as Gosling sitting on stairs as it snows around him, the final shot of Officer K in the Blade Runner 2049.
Fellow players were impressed and amused by the recreation, with some making jokes about Gosling’s role in the Barbie film in addition to his role in Blade Runner 2049. One asked about the coat that the Gosling lookalike is wearing, to which the OP replied that they killed Maxson and took it to complete the look. All in all, it’s a pretty impressive character creation, and showcases how despite Fallout 4‘s increasing age, the game still has a competent character creator to work with.
Recreating Icons with Character Creators
Fallout 4 has seen a fair share of characters based off of real-life icons and actors in the past, and it’s not the only title. Players have also remade iconic figures in games like Destiny 2, Elden Ring, and Bethesda’s more recent title Starfield. Some of these creations simply make use of modified armor or equipment, while others are done by spending a painstaking amount of time in a character creator getting every feature just right. While the quality of these creations vary, fans are generally enthused about them and the amount of work they take.
