Minerva’s Big Sale has returned to Fallout 76, offering players a chance to grab many ultra-rare and immensely useful plans at a hefty discount. This monthly event is something that both Fallout 76 veterans and newcomers alike will want to take advantage of if possible.
Minerva is one of the several Fallout 76 vendors who accept Gold Bullions, which is among the rarest types of currencies in Bethesda’s live-service RPG. She herself isn’t particularly difficult to find, but a lot of her stock is, not least because her inventory rotates on a weekly basis and most often comprises around a dozen items at any given time. On most weeks, she will hold a Minerva’s Emporium event from Monday to Wednesday. But every so often there’s also Minerva’s Big Sale, an aptly named promotion with a much larger inventory that runs Thursday through Monday.

Minerva’s Big Sale Is Now Live at Fallout 76 Whitespring Resort
One such opportunity materialized itself on May 16, circa noon ET, which is when Minerva arrived at the Whitespring Resort, located in the southern part of central Appalachia. As per usual, the latest edition of Minerva’s Big Sale acts as a catch-up event of sorts, offering the entirety of the last three weeks’ worth of her inventory, or 36 items in total. Minerva’s standard 25% discount still applies, making this an excellent opportunity for players to start spending some of those Gold Bullions they’ve been hoarding ever since completing the Fallout 76 Wastelanders DLC questline.
As for what exactly to buy, newcomers to the game can’t go wrong by picking up some pieces of the Fallout 76 Secret Service gear. Specifically, the Secret Service Underarmor and its Shielded Lining modification are both excellent choices that will likely be better than whatever alternative attire a sub-100-level player is wearing prior to finding Minerva. A fully modified Secret Service Underarmor provides some of the highest resistance to physical, radiation, and energy damage in its class. A combination of this Underarmor and its Shielded Lining mod also costs less than 350 Golden Bullion during Minerva’s Big Sale, which is a bang-for-buck ratio that few other item combos can rival.

As for some of the other highlights of Minerva’s Big Sale, the Water Well is a highly recommended pick-up for anyone who likes building C.A.M.P.s that aren’t near water, as it provides an infinite supply of dirty water that can be boiled and then drunk or used in recipes. Players who like to delete enemies with overwhelming force may also want to take note of the Gauss Minigun, one of the best heavy guns in Fallout 76. Minerva is presently selling both of these at 563 Gold Bullions a piece.
