With over 600 cars available in Forza Horizon 6 at launch, which ones are the fastest? First things first, let’s address some differences compared to its predecessors. For starters, the entire Bugatti brand is currently absent from the game, and these cars were traditionally some of the fastest vehicles in the series. This time around, though, FH6 embraces its arcade roots more than ever before, with the Forza Edition cars (most notably the Japanese ones) absolutely dominating the ranks of the fastest cars available in FH6.

Forza Horizon 6: Best Looking Cars

Let’s take a look at some of the most gorgeous vehicles available in Forza Horizon 6 so far. Highly subjective, but these FH6 cars are stunning.

When deciding which cars rank among the fastest in the game, let’s break down our criteria here. Below, the cars are ranked not by their stock top speed (although it’s also listed), but by the maximum speed achievable through tuning and upgrades, regardless of the car’s starting class (S1, S2, or R). To find these, browse the “All-Time Great” selection of user tunings for each car while paying attention to max top speed (or other stats like acceleration). With all that in mind, below is the definitive ranking of the absolute fastest cars by max top speed that players can achieve in Forza Horizon 6 as of today.

This list covers only the day-one selection of cars in the game. It also includes only base game cars, so no DLC cars.

10

Koenigsegg Agera RS

Max Top Speed: 282.5 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 275.0 mph
  • How to Get: Autoshow/Auctions

With Bugatti currently absent from Forza Horizon 6, Koenigsegg stands as arguably the fastest brand in FH6 so far, with almost every model available boasting incredible max speeds near 270 mph. Outmatching the Agera, Regera, One:1, and CCGT, the Koenigsegg Agera RS stands as the second-fastest Koenigsegg in the game for base players. It delivers an admirable top speed from the get-go, incredible looks, and some reserve for further upgrades and pushing the limits even higher. The Agera RS is enough for most cases, with only a few vehicles in the game outpacing it in drag events.

McLaren F1

Max Top Speed: 286.3 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 243.3 mph
  • How to Get: Autoshow/Auctions/Wheelspins

The McLaren F1 is the first car that often goes overlooked among the fastest in the game — probably because of its not-that-exciting stock top speed and S1 starting class. However, the McLaren F1 is one of the best cars to upgrade for top speed in Forza Horizon 6. With the right tweaks, it quickly joins the realms of the fastest rides in the game, outpacing all Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and most Koenigsegg models. The car’s over-30-year age hardly matters for its stats, even amid the cutting-edge hypercars of this century, proving that the McLaren F1’s iconic legacy is here to stay.

8

Rimac Nevera

Max Top Speed: 286.3 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 258.4 mph
  • How to Get: Auctions/Wheelspins

The Rimac Nevera was among the fastest in Forza Horizon 5, and while it’s not quite as dominant in FH6 due to some Forza Edition models, it still performs spectacularly. The main attraction of the Nevera is that it’s a fully electric vehicle, which grants a very smooth launch from the get-go, unique driving dynamics, and some of the best acceleration among stock models in the game. You can push the Rimac Nevera’s top speed notably higher in Forza Horizon 6, making it a top-tier drag strip performer as well as a very solid choice for speed traps and speed zones, thanks to its unparalleled launch and braking dynamics.

7

Koenigsegg Jesko

Max Top Speed: 295.6 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 284.0 mph
  • How to Get: Autoshow/Auctions/Wheelspins

Easily the fastest Koenigsegg in Forza Horizon 6, even before upgrades, the Koenigsegg Jesko has long been associated with the fastest cars in whichever driving game it appears. If ranking the cars by stock top speed, the Jesko would probably end up in the top 3 — just like in Forza Horizon 5. It’s a truly remarkable real-world record-breaker that embodies years of the brand’s expertise in creating some of the most exclusive, fastest, and racing-ready hypercars imaginable. The car’s specific handling, however, might prevent some players from using it too often, as the Jesko definitely requires some time to master its untamed launch and tendency to oversteer.

6

Porsche #3 917 LH Forza Edition

Max Top Speed: 295.7 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 259.8 mph
  • How to Get: Auctions/Wheelspins

The Porsche #3 917 LH Forza Edition opens the ranks of the absolutely broken Forza Edition vehicles available in Forza Horizon 6, standing among the fastest you can get. By sheer stats alone, it’s a pinnacle of the R class in FH6, requiring very careful tweaking to avoid ending up as an unrated X class vehicle. Still, when fully upgraded, it’s almost a tie with the Koenigsegg Jesko, with the Porsche #3 917 LH FE coming out on top by a hair’s breadth. Of course, you’d need a really, really long straight to reach its maximum speed in Japan.

Mazda MX-5 Miata Forza Edition

Max Top Speed: 297.1 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 257.6 mph
  • How to Get: Aftermarket/Auctions

One of the definite dominators of drag events in Forza Horizon 6 so far, the Mazda MX-5 Miata Forza Edition holds several records for the fastest drag strips alongside the Nissan GT-R Black Edition FE and Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex FE. Its biggest downside is relatively slow acceleration from the get-go, but once its supercharged engine reaches full potential, almost nothing can compare to this deceptively unserious car. The Mazda MX-5 Miata FE is also notable for how straightforward it is to obtain, as it’s often available for sale as an Aftermarket Vehicle right near the Horizon Festival starting point.

4

Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020

Max Top Speed: 303.0 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 243.4 mph
  • How to Get: Autoshow/Auctions/Wheelspins

From what I’ve seen, the Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020 often gets overlooked on fastest Forza Horizon 6 car lists, which is a shame. Yes, its stock top speed is rather average, but with the proper tune it becomes one of the very few FH6 cars capable of reaching over 300 mph in a straight line. Moreover, its acceleration to 60 mph is actually the best in Forza Horizon 6 — just around one second. All the more impressive given that this car is sold directly in the Autoshow for a very affordable 150,000 CR, sparing you the pain of hunting one down. All this combined makes the Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020 probably the easiest, fastest car to get in FH6 during the initial hours, turning all the speed challenges into a piece of cake.

3

Hennessey Venom F5

Max Top Speed: 306.4 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 304.7 mph
  • How to Get: Autoshow/Auctions/Wheelspins

The Hennessey Venom F5 is easily the fastest stock car in Forza Horizon 6 that you can get, with only minimal potential for squeezing out a couple more mph on top speed. The most notable advantage when upgrading the Venom F5 is its acceleration from the get-go, which grants nearly double the improvement over the stock version. I used this car the most to beat drag strips, speed traps, speed zones, and high jumps in FH6, as its handling is pretty responsive. Coupled with its insane acceleration and top speed, it makes even high-speed corners surprisingly manageable.

2

Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) Forza Edition

Max Top Speed: 307.4 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 304.8 mph
  • How to Get: Auctions/Wheelspins

The Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) Forza Edition is all but dominating the S2 class drag races in Forza Horizon 6, holding the current records for all drag strips. Its top speed is incredible even in the stock FE variant and can be pushed slightly further with the right upgrades and tweaks. Given that the Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) FE is a pure drag build in Forza Horizon 6, using it anywhere that’s not a straight line is highly impractical, as it’s almost impossible to nail even a slight corner. Another issue is how unreliable it is to unlock the Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) FE in the game, as all auction options get sniped almost instantly, so you have better chances of getting one at random via Wheelspins.

1

Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex Forza Edition

Max Top Speed: 323.8 mph

  • Top Speed (Stock): 279.1 mph
  • How to Get: Master Explorer Journal Reward/Auctions

Here it is: the absolute beast and fastest car in Forza Horizon 6, and it’s not even close. Starting with an already incredible top speed of around 280 mph, with some adjustments the Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex Forza Edition can achieve almost 324 mph in FH6, which is a bit ridiculous. The gap between it and all the other fastest cars is so notable it’s mind-boggling. However, players won’t be able to achieve this speed anywhere in Japan, as you need special custom-made tracks to push it to its limits. The only problem with the Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex FE is how hard it is to get one in FH6 right now. The auctions for it are absolutely brutal, and unlocking it as intended requires quite some effort. At least this reward is absolutely worth it.
