February Free PS Plus Games Revealed, Includes Ace Combat 7

It is almost February, which means it’s time for Sony to reveal the next batch of PlayStation Plus monthly games that subscribers will soon be able to download and enjoy. Fans of Top Gun, boxing, trippy visuals, and underwater survival are in for a good month. And unlike last month, you get four free titles this time around.

On January 28, PlayStation revealed February’s monthly games which will be available to all PS Plus subscribers across all tiers. These games will be available to add to your PlayStation library permanently starting on February 3. Once added, you can install them and play them whenever you want as long as you remain an active PS Plus Essential, Extra, or Premium subscriber. Here’s the list of games and what platforms they are available on.

  • Undisputed – PS5
  • Subnautica: Below Zero – PS5, PS4
  • Ultros – PS5, PS4
  • Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown – PS4

You don’t want to wait too long to grab these PS Plus monthly games, as they are only available to grab for free until March 2. After that, a new batch of not-yet-announced games will be made available to subscribers.

This month’s collection of PS Plus freebies is all over the place, but in a good way. Ace Combat 7 is one of the best jet combat games ever created. If you love Top Gun and haven’t already played Ace Combat 7, stop reading this sentence and go grab, download, and start playing it.

Meanwhile, Subnautica: Below Zero offers up a tense underwater survival experience with the added wrinkle that it’s really cold, too. For folks who miss EA’s Fight Night series of boxing games, Undispusted will offer you a solid replacement, though it isn’t quite as good as Fight Night Round 3. But then again, few things are, right? Last, but not least, PS Plus subscribers also get to check out Ultros next month, a game which its own devs describe as a “psychedelic metroidvania.” And yeah, that’s an accurate description of this trippy but fun indie game. So you get a flight sim, boxing sim, underwater horror sim, and an “I took LSD and played Super Metroid” sim. Fun month!

Don’t forget to add December’s freebies to your PlayStation account library. You have until February 2 to grab Need For Speed Unbound, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and Core Keeper.
