Final Fantasy 14 has officially revealed the level 100 Artifact armor sets for the crafting and gathering jobs in Dawntrail. Players will likely be able to obtain these stylish sets by exchanging endgame crafting and gathering currency once the new Final Fantasy 14 expansion releases.
In A Realm Reborn, and each subsequent expansion pack in Final Fantasy 14‘s 10 years of history, it has given each Disciple of the Hand and Disciple of the Land – the crafting and gathering classes in the critically-acclaimed MMORPG – a set of job-specific gear to get them started at max level. While most other gear can be shared by multiple classes, these Artifact sets can only be equipped by one specific job.

Ahead of Dawntrail’s launch, Final Fantasy 14 reveals two pieces of information for players to consider in their expansion preparation plans.
Now, Final Fantasy 14 has shown off the Artifact gear fans can obtain for their crafters and gatherers at level 100. In a recent update of the Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail special site, Square Enix added pictures of the endgame gear sets for these non-combat classes. Each of the eight Disciples of the Hand and three Disciples of the Land has their own unique outfit that not only has excellent stats for crafting and gathering at level 100 but is likely to make full use of Final Fantasy 14’s new two-slot dye system.

- Leatherworker
- Weaver
- Disciples of the Land
Unlike the Artifact gear for the combat classes in Final Fantasy 14, endgame crafting and gathering gear are not usually given to players for free. Typically, fans need to purchase each individual item for Scrips – the endgame crafting and gathering currencies. If Final Fantasy 14 follows precedent, players can look forward to farming Scrips if they want to collect these crafting and gathering gear sets for each profession.
The level 100 crafting and gathering Artifact gear is the first such set designed for Final Fantasy 14’s graphical update. In addition to player models, environments, and lighting, this visual overhaul also enhances the appearance of cloth, leather, and metal, which will allow these sets to look even better than they otherwise would.
Keen-eyed players may be able to spot some of these outfits in the background of the Final Fantasy 14 benchmark, as several scenes during the movie briefly show off some crafters and gatherers plying their trade while sporting this Artifact gear. After some complaints about the first iteration, Final Fantasy 14 recently released a second benchmark that fixed nearly every problem fans had, so players who want to see this gear in action should be sure to download the new version.
