Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is getting a Job system, as Square Enix shared a look at the game’s new iteration of the Final Fantasy franchise’s staple feature. Street Fighter 6 is Adding FF7’s Tifa to the Roster
The rumors were true as Final Fantasy 7’s Tifa is officially coming to the Street Fighter 6 roster alongside 3 other characters during Year 4.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is Returning to the Franchise’s Roots
During Summer Game Fest, Square Enix gave fans an idea of what to expect in Final Fantasy 7 Revelation. One of Revelation‘s key new combat features is the Function-Integrated Tactical Suitwear (FITS) system, which is the game’s take on the Final Fantasy series’ iconic Job system. These uniforms are imbued with different move sets, allowing players to customize each character to their liking. For example, Tifa can equip a Black Mage Job outfit to cast magic, while Cloud can don a Warrior Job uniform to improve his close-range capabilities. Final Fantasy 7 Revelation briefly teased Barett donning a heavily armored Job uniform, along with Cait Sith in a Summoner’s Job outfit. However, it is currently unclear how many Job FITS are included in Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, so fans must wait for more information.
