Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced‘s release may barely be in the rear-view mirror, but there’s still plenty to come from the franchise in the near future. A brand-new Assassin’s Creed release has officially been confirmed for Q2 2027, albeit with an eye-watering $2,999 price tag, putting it out of reach for many franchise fans.

The recent launch of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced marked another solid entry into Ubisoft’s long-running franchise. A remake of one of the best games in the series always felt like a safe bet. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced went on to hit some big sales milestones, and it was a great way to get fans back on board with a more classic experience after the controversial Shadows in early 2025.

PureArts Edward Kenway 1/2 Scale Statue Launches Q2 2027

Courtesy of PureArts, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced fans can now officially pre-order a 1/2 scale statue of popular character Edward Kenway, due to arrive in Q2 2027. The statue itself is a meticulously hand-crafted rendition of Kenway, and comes with numerous accessories including a cutlass, a flintlock pistol, a sculpted Jackdaw-inspired display base, and an individually numbered bottom plate for that specific statue. In terms of the dimensions, this version of the Assassin’s Creed protagonist comes in at 43 inches tall, 15.5 inches wide, and with a depth of 14 inches, weighing 42 lbs. It’s a hefty piece, which is exactly why it comes with an enormous $2,999 price tag.

While the $2,999 cost will prove to be prohibitive even for some of the most ardent Assassin’s Creed fans, it’s easy to see why the price is what it is. It’s part of PureArt’s Prestige Line, and is described as a “museum-quality collectible” with a “hyper-realistic portrait” of Kenway, using “silicone skin, glass eyes, and individually punched hair.” The listing also reveals that the assassin outfit “is recreated using premium fabrics, leather, and metal accessories,” indicating that no expense has been spared in bringing the statue to life. On top of all of that, it’s limited to just 500 units worldwide, so anyone who picks up this Edward Kenway statue will be getting a very exclusive piece of Assassin’s Creed history.

PureArts has long been one of the premium options for Assassin’s Creed statues, with tons of realistic options in 1/8, 1/6, 1/4, and 1/2 scale across numerous games in the series. However, this latest new Edward Kenway statue really takes things up a level. While it’s expected to drop in Q2 2027, PureArts does reiterate that it will only ship once complete, and given the level of detail here, it could still slip beyond that date.

Following Black Flag Resynced, attention will slowly start to move towards the next game in the series: Assassin’s Creed Hexe. Ubisoft has largely been quiet about the upcoming title since its initial announcement in 2022. However, fans have recently discovered some Assassin’s Creed Hexe teasers, indicating that more official news could be on the way in the near future.
