First LEGO Pokemon Minifigure Leaks Online, and It’s Adorable

First LEGO Pokemon Minifigure Leaks Online, and It’s Adorable

An Eevee minifigure believed to be part of an upcoming Pokemon set from LEGO has surfaced online. The leaked image offers a potential first look at one of the few small Pokemon figurines that LEGO is expected to launch later in 2026, with this particular Eevee model rumored to arrive in summer as part of a relatively expensive set.

The initial wave of LEGO’s first-ever Pokemon sets was officially revealed in January and released in March 2026. It includes a $59.99 Eevee set, a $199.99 “Pikachu and Poke Ball” kit, and a massive model of the final evolutions of all three Kanto starters: Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. At 6,838 pieces, this $649.99 offering is one of the top ten largest sets ever produced by the Danish toymaker. While they vary greatly in size and price, the three sets share one common trait: none of them feature any kind of minifigures, a staple of LEGO’s contemporary offerings.

Largest LEGO Set Ever Made Reportedly Coming July 1

A reliable leaker details the largest LEGO set ever by a significant margin that is reportedly scheduled for release on July 1, 2026.

Eevee Minifigure Mold from August 2026 LEGO Pokemon Set Leaks Online

Nonetheless, LEGO is still rumored to be working on some Pokemon minifigures, the first of which has just been sighted online via an image shared by Instagram user got.cooped on March 20. The leaked figure is based on Eevee and shows the fan-favorite Pokemon standing upright in a neutral pose. The source described it as a mold, suggesting the leak may have come directly from the factory floor. That would align with the minifigure’s reported roadmap, which points to a release in a rumored August 2026 wave of LEGO Pokemon line sets. Regardless of that claim’s accuracy, any LEGO product slated for a summer launch is likely already in production or nearing that stage as of today, based on the Danish toymaker’s well-documented practices.

Elaborating on the newly shared image, got.cooped said that the leaked Eevee minifigure will be part of the rumored 72154 set, which several previous reports from established industry insiders described as a large Poke Ball replica that opens and contains some kind of scene inside. The most recent of those unofficial insights included a claim that LEGO’s 72154 Poke Ball set will feature multiple minifigures. The upcoming model is expected to retail for $259.99, which would make it one of the Danish company’s most expensive Pokemon kits to date.

LEGO Poke Ball Set Rumor Roundup

  • Name: Poke Ball
  • Theme: LEGO Pokemon
  • Set no.: 72154
  • Pieces: 2,239 or 2,339

    • There have been conflicting leaks on the set’s size.
  • Release date: August 1, 2026

    • Pre-orders are likely to open a few months in advance.
  • Price: $259.99
  • Age rating: 18+
  • Minifigures: multiple, with Eevee being among them

With this new version of Eevee now having surfaced, what remains to be seen is how many other minifigures might join it in LEGO’s rumored Poke Ball set. Based on broader Pokemon merchandising trends since the early 2000s, Pikachu, Charizard and the basic forms of the three Kanto starters appear to be among the likeliest candidates for LEGO minifigures in 2026. Charizard’s chances may be somewhat lower, however, given that it has already appeared in one set. Beyond Generation 1, Lucario stands out as another plausible option, having remained one of the franchise’s most popular merchandising choices since the mid-2000s. Its size may also work in its favor, with Pokemon lore placing a typical specimen at around 3’11” (1.2 m), comfortably within the human-centric scale usually associated with minifigures.

72154 is just one of nearly 20 Pokemon sets LEGO is rumored to be preparing for August 2026. The reported product wave is also said to include sets titled “Squirtle’s Training Buggy Adventure,” “Pikachu’s Training House” and “Cubone vs. Gengar’s Ghost Challenge.” At least five of those summer releases are expected to offer Smart Play support. However, recent leaks suggest Pikachu’s Training House will be the only one to include a LEGO Smart Brick, which would need to be purchased separately for use with the others.
