The PS5 has no shortage of massive RPGs, and anyone who has been putting off a few of the console’s biggest third-party games may want to check out Amazon’s new early Black Friday deals. Black Friday 2026 is still more than a month away, but the retailer has already started cutting prices on several notable PlayStation games, including two of the most acclaimed RPGs of the current console generation. Better yet, some of these discounts are substantial enough that waiting until November 27 might not be necessary, especially for anyone hoping to catch up on a major franchise before its next release.

The PS5 is approaching its sixth anniversary, meaning its library has grown considerably since it launched in November 2020. The system has received everything from major PlayStation exclusives to ambitious third-party RPGs, and there are plenty more games coming before the generation ends. Of course, keeping up with all those releases isn’t exactly cheap, particularly when some games can easily take 50 hours or more to finish (and that’s without getting into the ones that practically demand a second playthrough). Fortunately, several Square Enix games are currently available for a fraction of their usual prices.

Early Black Friday Deals Officially Discount Square Enix Games on PS5

Amazon is offering Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for $31.83 and $19.99, respectively, with the former being more expensive than its sequel for some reason. The former’s discount has fluctuated the most, it seems, but it’s also worth noting that this specific Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth sale is for an Amazon-exclusive edition that includes a special PS5 controller skin featuring Cloud and Sephiroth. Both games are part of Square Enix’s ongoing remake trilogy, meaning PS5 owners can experience the first two chapters of Cloud’s reimagined adventure for around $50 combined.

Anyone looking for something outside of Final Fantasy has two more great Square Enix RPGs to consider, although they offer very different experiences. The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is currently $44.99, a 25% discount that brings the price down from $59.99. Its biggest appeal is its combination of classic HD-2D visuals and action-focused combat, with Elliot and his fairy companion Faie embarking on a journey across different time periods.

Octopath Traveler 0, on the other hand, has dropped to $29.99 and leans into the more traditional side of Square Enix’s RPG catalog. Its turn-based battles, large cast of recruitable characters, and town-building mechanics offer a different kind of adventure (and one that could easily keep players occupied well beyond the holidays).

Black Friday itself will likely bring even more PS5 game discounts, but there’s no telling whether these particular deals will get any better. Retailers regularly adjust prices throughout the holiday shopping season, and Amazon’s current offers could disappear before November 27 rolls around. There are undoubtedly more sales on the horizon as Christmas approaches, particularly with so many major games competing for attention, but the Final Fantasy games (and the other two RPGs) are already a compelling deal. Waiting for Black Friday might save a few more dollars, but it could just as easily mean missing out on the current prices.
