Blizzard just shared a post revealing massive race changes coming to World of Warcraft: Forever. Before the official reveal at BlizzCon last month, there were many rumors about what a World of Warcraft “Classic +” would be, including new timelines, classes, races, and a mix of features from Classic and retail. Interestingly, that is pretty much what the actual implementation of the rumored Classic + ended up being. World of Warcraft: Forever combines many of these aspects with player agency over SD or HD graphics, new race and class combinations, and more.
World of Warcraft: Forever Officially Changing Skyborne Race
World of Warcraft: Forever is making huge changes to the Skyborne race. High-definition (HD) models are getting improvements to their Druid forms, adding more fur textures and details, as well as adjusting saturation to make them more in line with the other creatures in the world rather than immediately standing out. Not only that, but WoW: Forever‘s Skyborne race is getting SD (Standard-definition) models to better match the Classic experience for those who wish to use vanilla-adjacent graphics. This also applies to the Druid forms for Skyborne elves as well. The announcement was shared by Josh Greenfield, also known as Aggrend, on Twitter, and the response has been pretty favorable from fans so far.
