Fortnite Could Be Crossing Over With a Classic Cartoon Franchise

Fortnite may be planning a new crossover with one of the most iconic animated series of all time, with leaks suggesting that Looney Tunes is coming to the game soon. The massively popular battle royale from Epic Games has made a name for itself with the wide array of crossovers added to the game. Fortnite features collabs with everything from video games and TV shows to movies and even popular musicians like Eminem and Mariah Carey as playable skins within the shooter. The launch of the game’s Chapter 7 has been no slouch with its crossovers either.

Chapter 7 Season 1 has introduced a multitude of exciting crossover content to Fortnite throughout its run. The season featured South Park as one of its biggest collaborations, adding skins based on the main cast and changing locations on the map, like the Cartmanland amusement park. Fortnite has also added several more properties to the game through its crossovers, including fan-favorite TV series The Office, popular anime Solo Leveling, and even HoYoverse’s Honkai: Star Rail. Now, Epic Games may be getting ready to add a new collaboration with one of the most storied cartoon franchises in pop culture.

Fortnite Players Are Boycotting Recent V-Bucks Price Increase

The Fortnite community asks all fans to help boycott the game on the launch of C7S2 in order to force Epic Games to cancel the V-Bucks price increase.

Fortnite May Be Crossing Over With Looney Tunes

A new update shared by prominent Fortnite leaker Loolo is teasing the addition of a Looney Tunes crossover to the game. Loolo confirms that the announcement of a new collaboration with the iconic animated series should be coming very soon, likely within the next couple of days. The post does not provide many specifics about the Looney Tunes crossover, nor does it confirm any skins or map changes. A new Looney Tunes event would be far from the first time that Epic Games has teamed up with Warner Bros. Entertainment, having previously worked to bring several DC superheroes to Fortnite.

While the leak did not share details about Fortnite‘s Looney Tunes collaboration, fans likely can expect several iconic characters as skins. Prominent cast members like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck will likely be locks for the Fortnite crossover, coming with at least one skin alongside multiple new cosmetics. The crossover potentially coinciding with the release of Chapter 7 Season 2 could also hint at a larger Fortnite event, serving as a main theme for the upcoming season. Fortnite‘s Chapter 7 Season 2 is currently scheduled to begin on March 19, with Epic Games already confirming a Crimson Desert crossover skin will launch alongside the new season.

Looney Tunes is one of several crossovers rumored to be hitting the battle royale within the coming months. Multiple popular franchises like Game of Thrones and Kingdom Hearts have been leaked as coming to Fortnite, though hard release dates have not been confirmed. Another popular animated series has seen leaks about a new crossover with the battle royale this summer, suggesting that Fortnite will add new skins based on Ben 10. Epic Games also recently announced a big change coming to Fortnite‘s Save the World game mode in April.

While the battle royale has been Fortnite‘s most popular branch, Epic Games recently announced that its Save the World game mode is going free-to-play. Fortnite‘s Save the World tower defense mode is scheduled to officially go free-to-play on April 16, nearly nine years after its original release. Epic Games also confirmed that Save the World’s free-to-play update will make the game mode playable on the Switch 2 for the first time, though it will still be unavailable on the original Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. The launch of Fortnite‘s newest season and Save the World’s free-to-play update should spell exciting times to come for fans of the game.
