Fortune’s Weave Leaks Appear Online

Fortune’s Weave Leaks Appear Online

A large collection of alleged Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave information has surfaced online, covering everything from the game’s campaign structure and class system to major story developments. The leak arrives less than three weeks ahead of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave‘s release.

The latest entry in the Fire Emblem franchise was officially announced during a September 2025 Nintendo Direct. Initially given a broad 2026 launch window, Fortune’s Weave locked down a September 17 release date back in June. Review codes were reportedly already in circulation by early August 2026, with at least one unverified source claiming to have had access to the game since late July. Public hands-on previews subsequently began appearing in mid-August, lending more credence to the original claim.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Is Now One Of the Most Expensive Switch 2 Games

Nintendo confirms that Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is now officially one of the Switch 2’s more expensive titles ahead of its September release.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Leak Claims the Game Has 3 Parts

The newly leaked information appears to originate from an August 28 /vg/ thread on 4chan, where an anonymous poster claiming to have access to a review copy of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave said they had already played for around 90 hours and answered many questions about the game. While similar claims often accompany fake leaks, this particular thread gained some credibility after the original poster uploaded several high-resolution screenshots from the game that had not been seen elsewhere. At the very least, the images suggest the source may have had access to unreleased material, although none of their claims have been independently verified and should therefore be treated with caution.

  • The game is reportedly split into three main parts.
  • Part 1 covers the Heroic Games and uses a Three Houses-style calendar.
  • Each Part 1 route allegedly has its own full ending before the wider conflict begins.
  • Part 2 reportedly drops the calendar for a more traditional battle-to-battle structure, with shops and training between stages.
  • Part 2 is said to be optional, with players able to jump to Part 3 after one Part 1 route.
  • The game reportedly has three class tiers, with many final-tier classes unlocked through quests.
  • The four leads allegedly lack strictly exclusive personal classes, though some endgame classes favor their strengths.
  • Support conversations are said to be strong, with romance playing only a minor role.

Some of the structural claims from the leak expand considerably on what Nintendo itself has officially revealed about the game. The August 2026 Fortune’s Weave Direct already established that the Heroic Games are followed by a five-year jump into a world devastated by Balor, so the existence of a later apocalyptic phase is not itself part of the leak. The potentially new detail is the alleged Part 2 between those portions of the story, particularly the claim that it consists of a war-focused campaign that players can skip in its entirety, or at any point after starting it. Notably, the source said they had played only one chapter of Cai’s Part 2 before returning to complete the remaining Part 1 campaigns and had not reached Part 3 at all.

The class and recruitment claims originating from the leak are similarly expansive. The poster described high-level classes tailored to characters such as Cai and Theodora but supposedly usable by other suitable units once unlocked. They also alleged that recruitment opportunities may vary between the four protagonists whose stories can be progressed in parallel across Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.

The source also claimed to be roughly 90 hours in while having “barely touched part 2,” speculating that seeing everything could take around 150 hours. Those figures remain unverified and are difficult to interpret given their route-hopping approach, which appears consistent with the new Fire Emblem game’s attempt to make experiencing multiple RPG routes less repetitive.
