In Game of Thrones lore, the Hightowers are one of the most powerful and influential families, playing a prominent role in the spin-off show, House of the Dragon. Now, thanks to Game of Thrones: Lord of the Hightower, fans will come closer to the family than ever before.
One of the best things about the Game of Thrones series is its incredibly deep lore. What could start as a one-off throwaway line has the potential to expand into an entire spin-off, such is the depth of that universe. With hundreds of years of history to explore, there has already been no shortage of Game of Thrones spin-offs for fans to enjoy across different mediums.

For the uninitiated, Game of Thrones: Legends is a mobile puzzle game from Zynga. It is still a fairly new Game of Thrones release, having initially launched back in 2024 as a new way to bring fans back to Westeros. In the game, Summons are used to bring iconic characters from the franchise onto their roster, which cycle with each new event.
Every month, Zynga releases an event calendar showing all the new Game of Thrones releases coming to Legends in that month. The game remains extremely active, with over 1 million downloads on the Google Play Store alone. Last month, Jon Snow returned in Game of Thrones: Legends‘ Hand of the King event, which proved popular with fans.
Despite the fact that the original Game of Thrones TV series ended in 2019 to a mixed response (to say the least), the franchise remains extremely popular across multiple mediums. Fans eagerly await any news from George R. R. Martin about the next book, while on the video game front, Game of Thrones: War for Westeros is a new RTS game set in Westeros, with none other than Jon Snow as one of the main characters. There’s plenty for fans of the series to enjoy at the moment.
