Emilie is the upcoming Dendro 5-Star in Genshin Impact, set to make her debut in Version 4.8, and players have already narrowed down her full list of talent and ascension materials. The main appeal of Genshin Impact has always been its characters, and Emilie will join that colorful cast as the final 5-Star of Fontaine. Though there is always the possibility of a new Fontaine 5-Star in the future, Genshin Impact is moving onto Natlan after Emilie’s release, which is good news for players who want to farm her ascension and talent materials early.
The final Fontaine map expansion came in Genshin Impact Version 4.6, and though Mont Esus could feature in a future update, players can now complete the Fountain of Lucine and Statues of the Seven in the Hydro region. This means that Emilie’s ascension materials will only utilize existing local specialties and world bosses, allowing players to effectively pre-farm the entire list of materials ahead of her release in Version 4.8.

Genshin Impact reveals the full lineup of 4-Star and 5-Star characters for the first half of Version 4.7, and it features a few controversial choices.
According to Seele Leaks, the beta for Version 4.8 has revealed Emilie’s list of materials, and it seems to feature both the Fragment of the Golden Melody and the Silken Feather. The former is obtained via the world boss in the Sea of Bygone Eras, while the latter drops from the weekly Arlecchino boss fight. Though leakers are still trying to make sense of Emilie’s full ability kit, the Fragment of the Golden Melody is easiest to farm with Geo or Claymore characters such as Navia in Genshin Impact.

The Lakelight Lily was solely used to ascend Furina in Genshin Impact and is relatively easy to farm in the Erinnyes Forest. Genshin Impact players should have no trouble preparing for Emilie, though the sheer amount of talent books and clockwork meka materials will make it a chore nonetheless. As for where their Primogems may come from, Version 4.8 will feature a temporary zone in an enchanted forest, which should hopefully give ample funds for Emilie.
As for the other banners for Version 4.8 in Genshin Impact, not much is known beyond rumors and speculation. A lot of players are expecting to see Wriothesley and Nilou on the banner, given their confirmed appearance in the Version 4.8 Imaginarium Theater and Flagship Event, respectively. The final spot could be a toss-up, with some players leaning towards Navia, while others are hoping for Shenhe. Though it remains to be seen how Emilie will synergize with the rest of the cast, as a Burning character, Wriothesley fans may want to give her a try for a more advanced Burnmelt team.
