Green Man Gaming's Better Together Bundle Is A Heavily Discounted Ode To Couch Co-Op

Green Man Gaming's Better Together Bundle Is A Heavily Discounted Ode To Couch Co-Op

Co-op games hold a special place in my heart, they’re some of the most fun, collaborative, and memorable games on the market but they’re sadly few and far between. Thankfully, Green Man Gaming has a new bundle of six co-op-focused PC games like Cat Quest II, Moving Out 2, and more. You can pick up the Better Together Bundle for just $12, which saves you a whooping 90% off the $125 the combined suggested retail prices if you bought the games separately.

See at GMG

Included in the bundle is Moving Out 2, the sequel to the chaotic couch co-op classic. It’s a lot more fun than helping your friends move, and comes with considerably less back pain. The game is physics-based, and you work with your teammates to navigate obstacles without breaking anything (yourselves included).

If you’re looking for something a bit more dungeon-crawly, Cat Quest II is a good candidate. It’s a third-person action adventure RPG set in a world inhabited by cats and dogs in adorable fantasy-inspired outfits. Just think Link to the Past, but it’s co-op, and everyone’s a domesticated short-hair. It’s a satisfying, lighthearted game to enjoy with friends, and the art is honestly just a joy to look at, no matter how many times you’ve played.

Okay, if you and your friends are masochists, you probably enjoyed Overcooked. That means you’ll probably enjoy Manic Mechanics, a very similar game but themed around an auto garage. You work together with your teammates to repair vehicles, get them back in working order, juggling parts, supplies, and merciless time limits.

Okay, I promise there’s not a sentient-animal theme to this list; there just happens to be another game that puts you in the feet of an animal doing crimes. Specifically, Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator. You take on the role of a mutated animal, working with your friends (who are also mutated animals) to pull off increasingly elaborate robberies, art heists, and all sorts of other larceny — of the petty and grand varieties.

Like the best couch co-op games, PlateUp! is extremely chaotic. This is another game that sees you and your friends preparing dishes and serving customers against brutal time limits, but the twist here is you get to upgrade your kitchen as you progress — bringing in some roguelike elements.

Speaking of roguelikes, Lynked: Banner of the Spark is a co-op action game with some roguelite elements and a dash of base-building. You team up with your friends to collect resources and rebuild your civilization while fighting off hostile robots and working with your friendly robot companions.
