Eagle-eyed Grand Theft Auto 6 fans have worked out the full length of the game’s day/night cycle. Following the latest GTA 6 gameplay leak, fans have noted that the cycle of a full in-game day will be significantly longer than previous games in the series.
GTA 6’s Day/Night Cycle is 144 Minutes in Total
The most recent GTA 6 leak focused on Jason robbing two gas stations, and notably included a very brief look at the in-game timer. A Reddit thread started by user Miserable-Price-7484 has noted that the time in the video took a total of six seconds to pass one in-game minute. When extrapolated to a full in-game day, it reveals that the GTA 6 day/night cycle will last a total of 144 minutes. This is a big jump from the day/night cycle time in Grand Theft Auto 5, which lasted just 48 minutes from start to finish.
