One dedicated Grand Theft Auto 6 fan has already found out the real-life location of Jason and Lucia’s apartment. The recent GTA 6 Extended Look has given fans enough to go off to track down the duo’s main apartment location from the game in real life, but it comes with a pretty surprising twist.
Following Grand Theft Auto 6‘s Extended Look on August 27, fans have been scouring every frame of the 26-minute deep dive to find out brand-new details about the game. The entire thing was so crammed with content, and some have even managed to find GTA 6 Easter eggs before the game’s official release. While there will surely be even more marketing material for fans to scour in the coming months, for now, this remains the most in-depth look at GTA 6 so far.
Lucia and Jason’s GTA 6 Apartment Has Been Demolished in Real Life
An Instagram user by the name of prettyboycuh shared a reel detailing their process, after easily finding the building across the road from Jason and Lucia’s apartment in the GTA 6 Extended Look using Google Maps. They noted that the pair’s apartment in the game did not appear in their search, despite being in the same location. Rather than give up, they simply switched the date that the image was taken from, instead finding one from 2013. Rolling back the dates revealed Jason and Lucia’s apartment, exactly where they expected it to be from the trailer.

The building itself is part of the Belmar Condominium, which was bought in 2022 for $12 million and later demolished. The 1970s-era building was previously found in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood, and the lot remains empty to this day. It can still be found on old Zillow listings, and it’s fascinating to see the location Rockstar evidently scouted years ago, knowing it no longer exists.
That Jason and Lucia’s apartment has since been demolished in real life is a funny hint at just how long Grand Theft Auto 6 has taken to be released. The wait for the game will extend to 13 years when it eventually launches, and while it’s unclear exactly when the apartment was added to GTA 6‘s map, it’s still amusing that it’s now gone, while being rather cool that it gets to live on in digital form forever.
Over the next three months, Rockstar will continue to lift the lid on GTA 6 by revealing new gameplay features and more. The marketing for the game is going to be enormous, which, given it’s expected to be the biggest video game launch of all time, makes a lot of sense. Naturally, fans will pick apart everything that’s to come, but that’s all part of the fun.
