Grand Theft Auto 6 fans think that they may have found Lucia’s actress in a different role in GTA Online. While the GTA 6 claim hasn’t been confirmed by official channels, there’s a fair amount of evidence to back up the idea.
Given the long wait that fans have had since Grand Theft Auto 5 launched, it’s no surprise that players have been doing anything they can to unearth information on the game. As a result, theories on actors appearing in Grand Theft Auto 6 have been fairly common over the years, alongside claims regarding the game’s story, gameplay mechanics, and more.
Lucia’s Actress May Have Appeared in GTA Online Before GTA 6
GTA Online fans have found a role in the game that they believe was brought to life by the same actress who is portraying Lucia in Grand Theft Auto 6. In the Diamond Casino, a blackjack dealer can be found who has a slight resemblance to Lucia, but more importantly, sounds quite a lot like her. The find was shared by Twitter user Msolli, who uploaded a video of her performing her job in GTA Online. GTA Online lists the role as being played by actress Manni L. Perez. While Perez hasn’t been confirmed to be playing Lucia, rumors have swirled for quite some time that she’s the actress behind the character.
The rumors claiming that Manni L. Perez is playing Lucia in Grand Theft Auto 6 date back to at least 2024. At the same time, it was claimed that actor Dylan Rourke is portraying Jason. While social media and even internet databases have sometimes listed these actors as portraying Lucia and Jason, however, nothing has been officially confirmed by Rockstar or Take-Two Interactive or the actors themselves. Accordingly, fans should take any claims with a grain of salt. However, it is hard to deny the resemblance between the characters and actors.
While one can’t say for sure if Lucia was portrayed by Manni L. Perez at this time, it would be like Rockstar to bring back an actor it’s worked with in the past. The same has already been said to be the case with Grand Theft Auto 6, though it’s not clear just how many actors are returning for the game. Some, however, have been confirmed, like with actor Jim Santangeli. He portrayed Simon Pearson in Red Dead Redemption 2, and Santangeli confirmed he had played a role in Grand Theft Auto 6 as well, though his role is apparently a small one. However, simply working with Rockstar isn’t a guarantee of a return, as actor Robert Bogue, who has performed in a number of Rockstar titles, apparently tried out for GTA 6 and never heard back, to his disappointment.
With little time left before Grand Theft Auto 6 finally releases, gamers won’t have to wait too much longer to find out if the claims regarding Lucia are legitimate. Rockstar has once again stated that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released on time, reassuring fans that another delay is off the table. With GTA 6 expected to cost the US economy $1 billion because so many people will likely take time off to play it, whoever the actors are behind Lucia and Jason will have some major accolades to add to their resumes soon.
