It appears as if Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have been hit with some form of new data breach, as a new individual going by CyberLeek has leaked new gameplay footage of Grand Theft Auto 6, and he has stated that more is coming soon on August 19. Indeed, while many fans were hesitant at first, Rockstar and Take-Two have moved to take down any unauthorized assets from these leaks on social media and elsewhere. That makes these new GTA 6 leaks seem legit.
According to Cyberleek, he is targeting any major publisher who does not follow three “commandments” relating to the ongoing debate around digital ownership and the end of physical media. The first is that there should be no pre-orders for digital content, explaining that pre-orders exist because of manufacturing limits (something digital doesn’t have to deal with). Commandment 2 is that users must purchase all content when they pay for a game the first time, claiming that “Selling [consumers] a file that flips locked = true to locked = false for a single-player mission, character, weapon, or story chapter is charging them twice for the same product.” Finally, Cyberleeks states that publishers must release a final patch, when winding down support, that unlocks all single-player content for local, indefinite play. That said, the GTA 6 leaker is also heavily pushing his cryptocurrency everywhere, so the “nobility” should be taken with a grain of salt.
GTA 6 Leak Drop 2 Date and Time
- Cyberleek’s Discord claims that more GTA 6 leaks are coming at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET on August 19. Since then, it seems Cyberleek’s Discord has been taken down, but that may not be the end of it.
Regardless, while there’s a lot unknown, it seems that Cyberleek is planning to drop even more leaks for Grand Theft Auto 6 at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET on August 19. Those following the news closely should be sure to check around then, if the leaker does not decide to release new footage earlier. Thus far, it seems he has released footage that pre-dates 2024, with one video showcasing Jason playing basketball and another showing some driving gameplay, as well as Jason beating a man to death. Cyberleek has also leaked the fully playable map of GTA 6.

It bears repeating that none of what has been revealed or will be revealed is confirmed, and even on the growing assumption that this is legit, such content may not even make it into the final game. For example, some folks have noticed that GTA 6 has a Red Dead 2-like Honor System and it may, but it also may not. On top of that, Rockstar and Take-Two are obviously not happy with the leaks, and the leaker is no doubt going to be in a lot of legal trouble. GTA 6 suffered a massive data breach once before, and the companies spared no expense in putting a stop to it and pursuing the legal process—there’s no reason to think that this time will be any different.
While a leak of this magnitude is definitely disheartening, there’s a strong reason it spread like wildfire. Yes, it’s GTA 6 and that will always happen, but GTA 6 fans are champing at the bit for any new info on the game as well. The marketing promised so far this summer has only consisted of pre-orders opening; neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has shown any real gameplay of the launch build. The GTA 6 Netflix: Extended on August 27 will help, but many fans hope that it is a true start and a stronger campaign than what has been released so far.

Find the odd one out before the timer hits zero.
Finally, if Rockstar and Take-Two are actively moving against Cyberleek, which is most likely the case, then these leaks may be over. But at least as of this writing, the aforementioned date and time is when the next drop is set to take place.
