The official YouTube account recently left a comment on one of Grand Theft Auto 6‘s trailers, sparking a new wave of theories about the release of the game’s third trailer. The last Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer to showcase actual in-game footage was released more than a year ago and has since amassed over 167 million views on YouTube.

Many people originally expected Rockstar Games to release Grand Theft Auto 6‘s third trailer around the anniversary of the second one in May 2026. However, that assumption quickly proved incorrect. When Rockstar Games selected June 25 as the pre-order date for Grand Theft Auto 6, many fans naturally speculated that it could also be the day the developer finally drops the third teaser. Now, a new piece of evidence appears to lend some support to that theory.

While everyone was busy discussing the news about Grand Theft Auto 6‘s pre-order date reveal, the official YouTube account quietly left a comment on the second trailer that many see as a solid hint at the next trailer’s release date. “Consider us busy June 25th,” the comment reads, and it already has nearly 7,000 upvotes. For some fans, the comment suggests that Rockstar Games will release the long-awaited third trailer on the same day pre-orders go live, which is far from an unlikely theory. However, YouTube could also be hinting that a wave of videos related to the upcoming pre-orders will be published on that date, which is a fairly safe assumption as well.

To be fair, it is not likely that YouTube somehow knows when the next GTA 6 trailer will be released, especially considering how secretive Rockstar Games has been about anything related to the game. The most likely scenario seems to be that YouTube is simply betting on June 25 as the date that “something notable” is going to happen, whether that is the next teaser or a flood of videos and vlogs about GTA 6, one of the most anticipated games of all time. That said, given how eager the community is for any piece of information, social media is already filled with posts breaking down theories about YouTube’s comment and how it ties with Rockstar’s next big surprise drop. Whether any of these interpretations holds any truth remains to be seen.

YouTube’s comment hasn’t been the only hot topic within the GTA community in the past few days, either. Recently, some fans claimed to have found new leaked evidence suggesting that GTA 6 could be priced at €89.99, pointing to a Portuguese website listing as their source. Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar executives have remained vague on the pricing, only stating that the game will be worth more than its retail cost.

Fans will have to wait to see whether GTA 6 sets a new standard for large-scale AAA releases in terms of pricing or follows the recent trend of $70 launches. Hopefully, both the pricing concerns and fan theories around a potential third trailer drop will be addressed soon on June 25, when pre-orders finally go live.
