Game Rant can exclusively reveal three new Transformers figures from Hasbro. All based on the very first Transformers film, the collectibles are scheduled to go up for pre-order in late April 2026, with their retail release planned for this fall.
The original Transformers movie that produced one of the most memorable Optimus Prime speeches to date will mark its 40th anniversary on August 8, 2026. While Hasbro has yet to reveal the full extent of its celebration plans, the company has now announced a trio of anniversary collector’s figures, which Game Rant can exclusively unveil.

Blitzwing Headlines Hasbro’s New Transformers Figures
The most technically ambitious of the three is Blitzwing, one of the most powerful villains in the Transformers lore. The Leader Class figure measures 8.5 inches tall and converts between robot, jet, and tank modes in 41 steps, reflecting the character’s distinctive triple-changer design. Blitzwing is also the most accessory-heavy of the trio, coming with blasters, a sword, and Energon gauntlets that give collectors several posing options. Given the character’s prominence in the 1986 film and the relative novelty of the triple-change mechanic, the $59.99 figure is likely to be the main draw for many fans.
Rounding out the Decepticon side of the lineup is the Voyager Class Cyclonus. The 6.5-inch figure converts from robot to Cybertronian jet mode and comes with an attachable blaster. Its minimalist loadout fits a character whose screen presence has always relied more on sheer menace than gadgetry. At $42.99, Hasbro’s Voyager Class Cyclonus sits in the middle of the new wave’s price range.

All three figures will be available to pre-order from Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers beginning April 28 at 1 p.m. ET.
The only figure from the wave not based on a Decepticon is the Deluxe Class Cliffjumper, which immortalizes a fan-favorite member of the original Transformers crew who crashed on Earth. The model stands 4 inches tall and converts from robot to car mode in 23 steps. Like the Cyclonus, it comes with a single blaster accessory. It is also the most accessible product from the upcoming line, planned to retail for $27.99. All three figures are scheduled to go up for pre-order on April 28 at 1 p.m. ET. Apart from Hasbro Pulse, they will also be offered through select licensed distributors, as none have been marked as retailer exclusives.

The Deluxe Class Cliffjumper, Voyager Class Cyclonus, and Leader Class Blitzwing are currently targeting a fall 2026 launch, with Hasbro expected to share a firm release date by late summer. Further anniversary-related announcements are likely in the months ahead, though there is currently no indication that a new video game is part of those plans. With Transformers: Reactivate canceled in January 2025, Transformers: Galactic Trials remains the latest video game based on the long-running franchise. It failed to land strongly, ranking among the lowest-rated games of 2024.
