GameRant can exclusively reveal a new Transformers collector’s item: the Transformers Studio Series Generation 1 Seeker Storm Pack. Inspired by the original Transformers series, the first-of-its-kind four-figure set will be available to preorder through late August 2026, with its limited release currently planned for 2027.
August 8 will mark the 40th anniversary of the original Transformers movie. Hasbro’s year-long celebration has already included multiple themed collectibles and promotional activities dedicated to the iconic franchise. The company unveiled its latest such offering on July 10, during the ongoing Bilibili World 2026 pop culture convention in Shanghai.
New Transformers Studio Series Set Is a First for the Franchise
What makes the newly announced Generation 1 Seeker Storm Pack unique is its made-to-order sales model. The four-figure pack is thus exclusively aimed at Transformers collectors looking to expand the Decepticon side of their Generation 1 displays. Its $149.99 price tag also reflects that target audience, placing it at the higher end of Hasbro’s figure lineup, even among multipacks. The set will be available for pre-order between July 10 and August 24, 2026, exclusively via Hasbro Pulse. Future owners are expected to receive it in summer 2027.

The set includes four Voyager Class Decepticons from the Transformers franchise: Ion Storm, Acid Storm, Nova Storm, and Sunstorm. Each stands 6.5 inches tall and converts between robot and jet modes, with designs inspired by the original 1984 Transformers animated series. Hasbro is formally framing the pack as an opportunity for collectors to expand their Seeker rosters beyond better-known Decepticon fliers such as Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp. The four featured Decepticons are a group of fliers known for weaponizing extreme natural forces, including acid rain and intense radiation.

Hasbro’s latest reveal continues the company’s playful “Apology Tour” tied to The Transformers: The Movie. The campaign is presented as an official effort to make amends to fans for Optimus Prime’s heartbreaking death in the 1986 animated film. While that scene remains one of the defining moments of the long-running franchise, it is not the sole focus of the year-long anniversary celebration, as underlined by the Transformers Studio Series Generation 1 Seeker Storm Pack.

Although the newly revealed made-to-order pack is not scheduled to launch until 2027, fans can look forward to other anniversary figures in the meantime. GameRant previously revealed three Transformers Studio Series figures based directly on the 1986 film: Deluxe Class Cliffjumper, Voyager Class Cyclonus, and Leader Class Blitzwing. All three are scheduled for release in fall 2026, giving collectors a more immediate way to mark the movie’s 40th anniversary before the Seeker Storm Pack arrives in August 2027. Hasbro’s streak of Transformers-themed announcements is expected to continue until at least late summer 2026.
