Hasbro Reveals New NERF Fortnite Blasters Paired with an In-Game Bonus [EXCLUSIVE]

Game Rant can exclusively reveal a new Hasbro NERF lineup of Fortnite-themed blasters. Targeting a summer 2026 release, the upcoming range consists of four products, each including a promo code that unlocks a digital item in Fortnite.

Founded in 1969, NERF is a toy brand now owned by Hasbro. It is best known for foam-based play products, particularly spring- and air-powered foam dart blasters, as well as foam sports balls and other indoor-friendly toys. The company maintains a long-running partnership with Epic Games and has been producing Fortnite-themed NERF blasters since 2019.

New NERF Fortnite Blasters Launching in July 2026

Epic Games and Hasbro’s partnership is now set to continue with another range of Fortnite-themed blasters, which Game Rant can exclusively reveal. The upcoming lineup includes four products: the NERF Fortnite SP-Drift OG, BASR OG, SP-Meowscles, and a Fortnitemares Blaster Pack featuring four micro-sized dart shooters. Each item is rated as suitable for ages eight and up and includes a redeemable code card for a virtual bonus item in Fortnite. All four are targeting a July 2026 stateside release, though retailer availability varies by product. The blasters will be showcased at the upcoming New York Toy Fair, scheduled to take place between February 14 and 17.

NERF Fortnite SP-DRIFT OG

  • MSRP: $19.99
  • Retailer: Target
  • Release: July 2026

The SP-Drift OG is positioned as a compact, sidearm-style blaster with an internal three-dart clip and six included NERF Elite foam darts. Hasbro says its removable barrel is meant to support quick customization. The NERF Fortnite SP-Drift OG will launch as a Target exclusive, priced at $19.99.

NERF Fortnite SP-MEOWSCLES

  • MSRP: $19.99
  • Retailer: Target
  • Release: July 2026

The SP-Meowscles is a counterpart to the SP-Drift OG, again using an internal three-dart clip and a removable barrel for a smaller profile when needed. However, it will include eight NERF Elite foam darts instead of six. This, too, will be a Target exclusive retailing at $19.99.

NERF Fortnitemares Blaster Pack

  • MSRP: $19.99
  • Retailer: Walmart
  • Release: July 2026

The Fortnitemares Blaster Pack shifts the focus from character theming to seasonal branding, bundling four tiny blasters inspired by in-game weapons: Micro Fortnitemares Llama, Micro Peely Bone, Micro RL, and Micro HC-R. The set is priced at $19.99, includes eight Elite darts, and is listed as a Walmart exclusive. The Fortnitemares Blaster Pack is the only product from the summer 2026 lineup that will include multiple Fortnite blasters.

NERF Fortnite BASR OG

  • MSRP: $39.99
  • Retailers: Amazon, Target, Walmart, and other major retailers
  • Release: July 2026

For players who prefer a longer, rifle-style option, the BASR OG is described as a bolt-action blaster that fires six darts in sequence from a removable six-dart clip. It also ships with a removable scope, includes 16 Elite darts, and is priced at $39.99, with distribution listed across major retailers like Amazon, Target, and Walmart. This will be the de facto successor to the 2020 BASR-L, which hasn’t been stocked in years.

Hasbro has yet to reveal what the virtual bonus included with each of its upcoming NERF blasters actually is. For now, what’s certain is that the digital item will be multi-platform, i.e., usable across every version of the game due to being tied to one’s Epic Games account. The promo codes included with the blasters are valid until July 15, 2030. However, there is a chance that most of these products will be discontinued long before then, presumably making way for some new line of Fortnite merch. For comparison, Hasbro’s Fortnite-themed NERF blasters that are still available for purchase include five products. While the oldest of those—the Soaker Pump-SG Water Blaster—has been available since 2020, most are far newer. Moreover, the majority of Fortnite blasters that the toymaker launched since 2019 have been discontinued as of early 2026.
