Heartopia Player Gets Hilarious But Concerning Postcard

A Heartopia player has shared the postcard they received from an in-game friend that’s both hilarious and a bit disconcerting. While Heartopia players can send postcards to their friends at any time, this one arrived when the friend was in an unexpected state of distress.

While Heartopia can be played solo, plenty of players have been having fun with the game with friends. There’s a wide variety of activities available for players to engage in, and some simply like visiting their friends’ towns to see what they’ve been up to, including building dream homes in Heartopia. However, the game isn’t without faults, and an unexpected problem transpired that led to this particular postcard.

Heartopia Food Price List

Here is how much every food item sells for in Heartopia.

Heartopia Player Gets Unexpected and Worrying Postcard from Friend

A player called idonteatredmeat has shared the funny postcard they suddenly received from a friend. On a piece of cheerful stationery, the friend declares that they’re stuck in the walls of the OP’s Heartopia house. Idonteatredmeat explains that while the friend was still on the map, they had completely vanished from their home, due to a glitch. The friend even popped up in the comments, saying “IT WAS SO SCARY,” while the OP got a good laugh out of the bug.

Plenty of other Heartopia players have been amused to see the postcard and to hear how it came about, but several have also indicated that it’s not an isolated incident. A few other players shared their own experiences of receiving similar postcards from Heartopia friends who had encountered the same or similar problems. In one case, a visiting friend got stuck in the player’s ceiling, while another was trapped under the house. In that case, the player actually went through the trouble of building a basement, so that if anyone gets stuck under the house again, they should be able to escape. In idonteatredmeat’s case, they ultimately tore down the walls in their house that their friend was stuck behind so they could get out.

While some are amused to hear about other players going through this problem, this kind of Heartopia glitch can be problematic, as well. One player noted that they had gone through getting stuck under a friend’s floor. In an attempt to fix the problem, they ended up restarting the game three times until their character was finally respawned outside of the bounds of the house. Thankfully, there’s a simpler way to resolve this problem that doesn’t require restarting the game or asking the owner of the home to change the build in order to save the stuck player.

If a Heartopia player finds that they’re stuck in their own home or anyone else’s, there’s a simple way to fix it. The stuck player simply needs to access their watch menu in the upper-right hand corner of the screen, navigate to the bottom to Settings, and then pick Reset Position. After confirming, a short loading screen will appear, and the player will be moved to a new spot.

The cozy life sim isn’t perfect, and there are some known bugs in the game, like players’ cars turning invisible in Heartopia. However, for the most part, players seem to be enjoying what the game has to offer, and the bugs haven’t been so severe as to hugely impact that experience. However, players have taken issue with some things in Heartopia, like the gacha system, which some feel is too stingy, due to a lack of pity system and potentially needing hundreds of pulls to get everything the player wants. Others seem to be perfectly fine with the game’s systems, though, like one fan who built a mansion in Heartopia that was so massive that it reached the game’s load limit, preventing them from expanding upon it any more than they already had.
