Arrowhead Games Studios reveals the Exo Experts Premium Warbond for Helldivers 2, adding tons of new content to the game and the better news is that it is releasing soon. Helldivers 2 has never been short on content, with Arrowhead creating a living, breathing world that is reactive to player actions on the various planets. Along with the constantly shifting war, Helldivers 2 continues to add new warbonds and limited time events to ensure players continue to log in.
After a rapid start to 2026 with numerous new Warbonds for Helldivers 2, the release schedule slowed somewhat from the original pace. Early in the year, players saw plenty of new cosmetic options and weapons, from the stealthy and tactical Redactred Regiment, the destructive Siege Breakers, and then the World War I-inspired content of Entrenched Division. However, with Entrenched Division originally launching in Mid-March, there was a bit of silence around what was next, despite fans knowing that a new Warbond was planned for April. With the month quickly approaching its end, Arrowhead has finally revealed the next content drop.
Helldivers 2 Update Adds Unique New Feature, But There’s a Catch
Arrowhead Game Studios releases a new update for Helldivers 2, but this one is a little different from previous patches in what it adds to the game.
Helldivers 2 Exo Experts Premium Warbond Release Date
In a new blog post, Arrowhead’s community manager, Mitchell Ayre, revealed The Exo Experts Premium Warbond coming on April 28 for Helldivers 2. As expected, the new content revolves around Helldivers 2‘s mechs, including new cosmetic skins for them as well as two brand-new types to call in on missions. EXO-51 Lumberer comes equipped with an anti-tank cannon and a flamethrower, making it able to handle both bigger enemies as well as smaller ones. Alternatively, players can select the EXO-55 Breakthrough, featuing a Flak Cannon and ballistics shield. This one enables players to get up close to enemies and dealing maximum damage while still being able to protect themselves.
However, that’s not all as the Warbond includes the MGX-42 Bullet Storm stratagem, a disposable machine gun with caseless ammunition in multiple barrels. Instead of reloading, players simply throw it away. Each one comes with two, so players can opt to share or rapid fire through both.
For the ground troops, Exo Experts come with the SMG-203 Gallant, a high penetrating and rapid-firing submachine gun, with a smaller clip size. Arrowhead calls the Gallant the older brother to Helldivers 2‘s MP-98 Knight. In addition, there’s the P-33 Missile Pistol which, as the name implies, fires guided, heat-propelled rounds after locking on to a target.
For those interested in soldier customization, this Warbond adds two more armor sets, the O-2 Heavy Operator and the O-3 Free Spirit, which comes with the Oxygenator perk to move and slide quicker. There are two new capes to equip, the Exosuit Certified title, and more personalization items inside this Premium Warbond as well.

The new Warbond is part of Arrowhead’s overall bigger plans for the game. Back in March, Arrowhead released a new content roadmap for Helldivers 2, highlighting the first half of 2026 and the studio’s overall plans. As Helldivers 2 continues toi work through it’s planned April content, May is conspicuously absent from the roadmap, leaving June as the month for players to look forward to with Update 6.3 and other bits of new things to look forward to, including another Warbond.
