Baldur’s Gate 3 Mod Adds Interview with the Vampire Outfits for Astarion
A new Baldur’s Gate 3 mod lets Astarion and other characters dress up like Lestat from Anne Rice’s classic story Interview with a Vampire.
This particular mod features on Nexus Mods, titled “That’s Cringe” from user emsthings. The functionality of the mod is simple – it replaces the disapproval and approval pop-up messages with something a little more Gen Z. The disapproval message has been replaced with “(Character) thinks that’s cringe.” Meanwhile, the approval message now reads “(Character) is screaming, crying, throwing up.” It’s an absolutely bizarre mod that changes the dynamics of the companions in Baldur’s Gate 3, and it’s not going to be for everyone. However, for those who don’t mind a little bit of immersion-breaking, it’s absolutely hilarious.
Hilarious Baldur’s Gate Gen Z Zoomer Mod
This kind of mod is a refreshing change of pace from the usual. Many Baldur’s Gate 3 mods are extremely serious, and while this is good for hardcore roleplayers, it’s great to see some modders still having a little fun with the process. Sometimes, players just want a Baldur’s Gate 3 mod that turns all companions into gnomes, and that’s okay.
While Larian is largely done with Baldur’s Gate 3, the game still has a lot of life left in it yet. The modding community will undoubtedly carry the torch for many years to come, especially with the news that Larian won’t be releasing any DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3. While the studio moves on to pastures new, it will be interesting to see how Hasbro goes about selecting a new developer for the series going forward. Larian’s departure from Baldur’s Gate leaves a massive void, and it won’t be an easy task for whichever studio takes over the mantle in the future.
