If you’re anything like me, as soon as Pokemon Pokopia declared the need for paper to complete the next step of the Team Initiation Challenge, you suddenly forgot how on earth to craft it. Thankfully, I figured it out via a painstaking method of deduction. Luckily for you, I wrote it down so you don’t have to talk to tens of Pokemon before remembering the right way to get it done.
There are several Pokemon that can help to make paper, but before that, you’ll need to gather up some bundles of Wastepaper. These will be given to specific Pokemon in order to craft it into normal paper. You can find Wastepaper in the Sparkling Skylands in abundance, so head there to get as much as you need.
After that, you’ll need to track down a Pokemon with the Recycle ability. From my earlier hours in the game, I remembered Trubbish having this exclusive specialty, so I headed to him for all my paper needs. You could also ask the likes of Metang, Garbador, Magnezone, Koffing, Weezing, Cinccino, Porygon, Porygon2, Beldum, or Metagross.
