How To Time Travel In Pokemon Pokopia

How To Time Travel In Pokemon Pokopia

Pokemon Pokopia is a cozy sim that lets you live alongside Pokemon in a game centered around crafting and building instead of battling. Building your own settlement with Pokemon can take time, but there is a hack if you want to speed things up.

Much like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pokemon Pokopia features a day-night cycle linked to real-world time, meaning that a day in the game is as long as a day in real life.

Time traveling on your Switch 2 can be used as a hack to allow you to speed things up and see your projects come to life faster in-game.

How to time travel in Pokemon Pokopia

There are a few steps you’ll need to follow below:

  • Save and quit Pokemon Pokopia
  • Go to your Nintendo Switch 2 system settings by selecting the gear icon and clicking “System”
  • Select “Date and Time” and then turn off the setting called “Synchronize Clock via Internet”
  • Now you can use the “Date and Time” setting to change it to whatever you want
  • Reopen Pokemon Pokopia

Following the steps above, Pokemon Pokopia should now reflect your chosen date and time.

However, it’s worth noting that skipping time could have an impact on your game. For example, skipping too much time in Animal Crossing: New Horizons can cause weeds to take over your island and villagers too move out. It might be best to test this out in Pokemon Pokopia by only skipping forward a day or so to check your progress.

You can visit the Nintendo Switch 2 settings at any time to change or resynchronize the clock back to the internet.
