Fans of the Pokemon Trading Card Game are in for some big news on June 1, with The Pokemon Company gearing up to officially reveal the 30th Celebration set. The Pokemon TCG‘s anniversary set is expected to include a mix of new cards and reprints of classic cards from throughout the game’s history.
Pokemon TCG Confirms Reveal Date for 30th Celebration
Pokemon Japan recently confirmed the date and time for the official reveal of the upcoming 30th Celebration expansion. The Pokemon TCG will unveil details about 30th Celebration on June 1 at 6:00 a.m. PT, including many of the cards planned to be featured in the set. Previous reports have suggested that every card in the anniversary expansion will be holofoil, with each pack expected to include six cards. Early information has also suggested that 30th Celebration will include a Pikachu in every pack, with a total of 30 different Pikachu cards available for players to collect. 30th Celebration will release on September 16 in Japan and is expected to debut worldwide just a couple of days later, on September 18.
