Mikyle Rafiq, better known as N3on, has commented on the latest Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, which is believed to feature a parody of him as an NPC. N3on also went as far as recreating the scene from the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer in real life and celebrating the possibility of his lookalike being an IRL streamer in the fictional state of Leonida.
In the GTA 6 Extended Look trailer, there’s a brief moment when co-protagonist Lucia steals a car, only to find out that someone has been hiding in its trunk. The person she finds is none other than the alleged N3on lookalike, who continues his IRL “trunk challenge” stream on his phone even after finding out that his friend’s car has been stolen. The two are also seen being chased by cops, with the NPC streamer talking to his “chat” and bragging about being chased by actual police cars.
N3on Recreates GTA 6’s IRL Streamer Moment
After a wave of speculation sparked online, N3on took to his stream to address the situation, thanking fans for even seeing him as someone who could be in GTA 6. “I’m just so happy and blessed and grateful to even be seen like that,” he said during a recent livestream. N3on also recreated the scene in real life with the help of a friend who pretended to be GTA 6‘s co-protagonist Lucia, a clip-worthy moment that’s already circulating online. Needless to say, Rockstar Games has not confirmed if the in-game streamer is based on a real internet personality, but the NPC’s appearance, especially the hairstyle, is similar to N3on’s distinct look.
N3on hasn’t been the only content creator to react to the GTA 6 trailer’s streamer moment. Other prominent Twitch streamers, such as IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat, also addressed it, though most of them didn’t even mention the possible N3on parody. Instead, they seemed mostly excited that streamers had made it into the immersive world of GTA 6. “Chat, they got streamers in the game,” said an excited IShowSpeed. One funny remark came from another popular streamer, Jynxzi, who called the NPC “a brainrot IRL streamer,” a description that N3on might not particularly love.
It is nothing new for Rockstar Games to create parodies of celebrities, and with GTA 6, it has proven that it will also recreate real-life viral moments. One good example is the Florida Joker lookalike in one of GTA 6‘s trailers. There’s also an NPC known as “Hammer Lady” or “Hamlet Woman” who is believed to be based on a woman who went viral for her strange attitude some years ago. So, adding a character based on N3on, who has been a bigger name in many streamer-related controversies in recent years, wouldn’t exactly be an out-of-character move for the studio.
Fans’ reactions to a possible N3on reference in GTA 6 have been mixed. While some find it funny, others believe the IRL streamer doesn’t deserve the publicity and attention he is currently receiving. However, one thing most fans seem to agree on is that this brief moment in the trailer could be a sign that streaming and social media will play an interesting role in GTA 6.
