LEGO Fan Builds 9 Overwatch Heroes from Spare Pieces

A creative LEGO and Overwatch fan showed off the collection of the game’s heroes they built from scratch using spare pieces they had lying around. These nine LEGO minifigures are very detailed given the limitations that the builder’s spare parts offered. While Overwatch has received official LEGO sets in the past, these builds are completely original takes and include some characters that were never officially released.

Overwatch is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026, and is in the midst of the Reign of Talon story arc that is planned to last throughout the year. The game saw a massive resurgence in February when Overwatch released five brand-new heroes at once to kick off the Reign of Talon arc. Since then, new heroes Sierra, and most recently, Shion have joined the Overwatch roster, and the latter is represented in this custom LEGO build.

LEGO Fan Creates 9 Custom Minifigures of Overwatch Heroes

Reddit user Alive-Selection1766 shared their LEGO creation on the Overwatch subreddit, which includes nine of Overwatch‘s 52-hero roster as minifigures. Despite only being a fraction of the total Overwatch roster, the heroes represented in this build span a wide range of old and new characters across all of Overwatch‘s hero roles and sub-roles:

Ramattra — Stalwart Tank
Brigitte — Survivor Support
Echo — Recon Damage
Bastion — Specialist Damage
Zenyatta — Tactician Support
Moira — Medic Support
Venture — Flanker Damage
Ashe — Sharpshooter Damage
Shion — Flanker Damage

Sub-roles were added as a part of the Reign of Talon Season 1 update and grant the hero a specific passive unique to that particular sub-role.

Represented in this collection are three Overwatch Support Heroes: Zenyatta, Moira, and Brigitte, five Overwatch Damage Heroes: Echo, Bastion, Venture, Ashe, and Shion, and a single Overwatch Tank Hero: Ramattra. While most of these LEGO Overwatch heroes are constructed using minifigure pieces, some of the Omnic heroes, like Ramattra, Zenyatta, and Bastion, use more complex pieces.

One commenter even suggested utilizing the headpiece from last year’s Iron Man & War Machine vs. Hammer Drones LEGO Marvel set as the head for Bastion. And the similarity between the Overwatch Omnic and the Hammer Drones’ heads is uncanny. Still, it’s impressive that user Alive-Selection1766 was able to create these minifigures with their current available parts.

Perhaps the most impressive of these custom LEGO Overwatch heroes is the Shion that user Alive-Selection1766 has created. Being the most recent addition to Overwatch‘s roster with the release of Reign of Talon Season 3, Shion has become a popular Damage character for players to pick. This LEGO version of the hero even includes Shion’s signature motorcycle, which she can ride and launch at enemies using her Joyride skill.

Although there have been nine officially released LEGO Overwatch sets, none of the characters featured in this custom build ever received official minifigures. The only one of these heroes even represented in the official LEGO Overwatch sets is Bastion, but only as a large-scale set. With the LEGO Overwatch line of sets seemingly finished and retired from sale, fan creations like this will have to carry the torch of LEGO creativity for fans of Blizzard’s hero shooter.
