According to a recent series of leaks, the next seven playable Marvel Rivals heroes may have just been revealed. The list of seven leaked Marvel Rivals fighters features a wide assortment of Marvel characters ranging from lesser-known heroes like Blue Marvel to well-known Mutants like Nightcrawler to iconic villains like Doctor Doom.
Marvel Rivals has already enjoyed a fairly lengthy tenure, with its launch happening back in December 2024. Since its debut, Marvel Rivals has added 20 new playable characters across eight in-game seasons, along with a plethora of in-game events and game modes and a handful of new maps. On June 12, Marvel Rivals will release its Season 8.5 update, which will finally bring the long-awaited X-Men Cyclops to the hero shooter.

The first set of recent Marvel Rivals leaks (collected and posted in the r/GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit) come from X0XLEAK. On June 10, X0XLEAK made three separate Twitter posts, each one leaking the heroes supposedly coming in the next three Marvel Rivals seasons. The leaker points out that these plans could change, but as they currently understand it, The Hood and Jubilee will be joining the roster in Marvel Rivals Season 9, with The Hood taking on the role of a Vanguard and Jubilee taking on the role of a Strategist. Gorr the God Butcher and Nightcrawler could follow them in Marvel Rivals Season 10. And finally, Doctor Doom might finally make his playable Marvel Rivals debut in Season 11, alongside a second, yet-unknown hero.

On the same day, Twitter user MultiverSusie took to the social media platform to share what they’ve heard from their own anonymous sources. Jubilee, The Hood, Gorr, Nightcrawler, and Doctor Doom all appear on MultiverSusie’s list of leaked Marvel Rivals characters, but they also claim that Blue Marvel and Crescent could be on the way as well. A handful of comments on MultiverSusie’s post point out that Crescent is usually portrayed as a teenager and that developer NetEase has avoided using child characters thus far. One user wrote, “They didn’t add moon girl why would they add crescent?” to which MultiverSusie replies “you’ll see soon,” perhaps hinting that Marvel Rivals‘ version of Crescent will be an older variant.
While all leaks and rumors should always be taken with a big pinch of salt, it would make a lot of sense for Doctor Doom to be one of Marvel Rivals‘ Season 11 heroes. If Marvel Rivals sticks to its current 2-month seasonal release schedule, then Season 11 should drop sometime in November and run through to January, putting Doctor Doom’s potential release close to when Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters. Marvel Rivals hasn’t often timed its hero drops to coincide with MCU movie releases, but this one would make too much sense to avoid, especially as Marvel Rivals has an ongoing ‘Path to Doomsday’ event that’s tying in directly with the MCU.

As for heroes that could potentially join Doctor Doom in Marvel Rivals Season 11, there are a handful of leaked heroes that still haven’t made the roster. Captain Marvel, Professor X, Thanos, Ant-Man, and Forge are just some of the heroes that could be added alongside Doctor Doom later this year.
