Spring is nearly here, and I can tell because every other night has been filled with rain. I don’t mind, it just gives me an excuse to stay inside and play more games. And if you are in need of some new stuff to play, and you are also a PS Plus Extra or Premium subscriber, Sony has just announced the next batch of games coming to the service, including Space Marine 2, Persona 5, and a classic Tekken title.
On March 11, PlayStation officially announced the next round of PS Plus Extra and Premium games that will be added to the subscription service’s game catalog. All of these newly revealed games will be available to start downloading and playing on March 17.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is an excellent third-person shooter to play with some friends. And since launch, it’s gotten more missions, guns, and enemies. If you are craving a co-op horde shooter with some grit, I’d get a few PS5 buddies to download Space Marine 2 and go kill some bugs together. Meanwhile, PS5 and PS4 owners will both get Persona 5 Royal, a massive JRPG that will eat up a few weeks for most people. I’d also like to shout out Metal Eden, a damn fine boomer shooter-like game with some cool aesthetics and ideas.
Remember, to access, download, and play these PlayStation games you’ll need to be an active PS Plus Extra or Premium tier subscriber. Essential tier subscribers don’t get access to the game catalog. And if your subscription runs out in the future, you’ll no longer be able to play these games until you resubscribe.
