Mojang’s Minecraft has always nurtured the imagination of its audience, but when the possibilities are endless, anything seems possible — even a large-scale, Cyberpunk-themed casino. In 13 years, Minecraft players have shocked the masses with their incredible builds, ranging anywhere from a life-size replica of the Titanic to a faithful rendition of Genshin Impact‘s Mondstadt. The inspiration behind the vibrant casino appears to be the action-adventure RPG Cyberpunk 2077 by developer CD Projekt RED.
Cyberpunk 2077, released in 2020, takes place in a fictional dystopian universe called Night City, based in California. The player controls V, a mercenary whose memories begin intertwining with those of a legendary rockstar named Johnny Silverhand. In the game, Night City is overrun with gang violence and corporate warfare, relying on robotic technology for day-to-day operations. One dedicated Minecraft player believes their casino could fit nicely within the universe, given its futuristic design and eye-catching color palette.

And even fellow Redditors were blown away by the craftsmanship, the timelapse of which was uploaded to YouTube. Naturally, the picture itself doesn’t do the build justice, so watching the process from the very beginning is an extremely humbling experience.
It wasn’t mentioned how long the casino took to build, but it’s safe to assume it took quite a long time It all seemed to have paid off, however, as the post has reached thousands of Redditors and the YouTube upload has amassed almost a thousand views itself at the time of writing. Painstakingly building large structures in Minecraft is a trend that will likely continue indefinitely, and it will be exciting to see what else the community pulls off.
