Capcom has confirmed that Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a brand-new hack-and-slash game, will be debuting on the Xbox Game Pass service on July 19, 2024. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is an action strategy game that takes place in a unique Japanese-inspired setting. It will be joining a number of other Day One Xbox Game Pass titles that will be released that month, such as the indie co-op game Flock.
Kunitsu-Gami was first announced in June 2023 during the Xbox Games Showcase, and was confirmed to be a day one Xbox Game Pass release during its reveal. However, Capcom only confirmed the project was in development at the time, and it wasn’t given a hard release date. Capcom gave fans an update earlier this Spring that the game would be released by 2024. Fans now have an exact release date of when the game will be hitting the Xbox Game Pass service.
