While the Warcraft franchise doesn’t get new releases very often, fans will always take note when something is announced. Now, those willing to part with $535 can enjoy a new Warcraft release, officially confirmed for 2027.
Warcraft‘s long history now spans over three decades. The now-iconic series began as an RTS, before finding even bigger success with the MMORPG World of Warcraft. WOW has remained so popular for so long thanks to regular new expansions, the most recent of which was Midnight earlier this year. On top of this, spin-offs in other genres like card game Hearthstone and MOBA Heroes of the Storm have ensured Blizzard can offer something for everyone with the Warcraft franchise.
Warcraft’s Grommash Hellscream Gets New $535 Infinity Studio Bust
The latest new Warcraft release is available to pre-order now via Sideshow. It’s a 1:3 scale bust of Grommash Hellscream by Infinity Studio, based on his appearance in World of Warcraft. The bust recreates the powerful Warcraft orc’s iconic pose, his axe over his shoulder, with what Infinity Studio describes as a “domineering and unrivaled aura.” The piece has been detailed with tons of tiny clothing pieces, including “metal, leather, animal hair, bone ornaments and chains,” which, alongside primitive elements like “animal hides, bones and fangs,” help “present the primitive wildness unique to the orc war culture.” It stands at 16.6 inches tall, 19.7 inches wide, and 16.2 inches deep, making quite an impression in any gaming display.

possible.
Pre-orders for the Infinity Studio Grommash Hellscream bust are open now, but it isn’t expected to release until between August 2027 and January 2028, so it’ll be a while before the finished product is shipped. And at $535, it’s a very expensive collectible. The good news is that Sideshow currently has a promotion for $57 off this new Warcraft release when pre-ordered with the code “ORC,” bringing it down to $478. Still not cheap, but better than it was.
Orders via Sideshow are limited to 2 per person.

Because the Warcraft franchise has such a dedicated fanbase, it’s prime for these kinds of high-end gaming collectibles. For example, there’s a $975 Tyrande Whisperwind statue based on her Hearthstone appearance releasing next year. These price tags may seem prohibitively high, but ultimately, the effort that goes into these premium collectibles makes it so that mass-producing them and releasing them cheaper simply isn’t possible.
The future looks very bright for Warcraft, especially thanks to WOW‘s enduring popularity. During BlizzCon a few weeks ago, Blizzard released the beta for World of Warcraft: Forever, a new game that will continue to receive brand-new updates according to the original game’s design philosophy. Think of it like Old School RuneScape, but for World of Warcraft.
