The Warcraft franchise isn’t exactly known for regular releases, so when a new one comes around, it’s always something for fans to really look forward to. Those with a spare $975 to spend are in luck, after a new Warcraft release was officially confirmed for 2027 with an eye-watering price tag.
The Warcraft franchise has thrived for over three decades, with its RTS roots eventually expanding into the wildly successful MMORPG World of Warcraft. Over the years, Blizzard has continued to release tons of new World of Warcraft expansions, the latest of which was Midnight, which launched earlier this year. Outside of WOW, the developer has also launched various spin-offs set in the Warcraft universe, including the popular card game Hearthstone, released in 2014.
Warcraft’s Tyrande Whisperwind Gets New $975 HEX Collectibles Statue
From HEX Collectibles, Warcraft fans can officially pre-order a new Tyrande Whisperwind 1/6 scale statue on Sideshow. Her appearance in the statue is based on her Signature card variant in Blizzard’s card game, Hearthstone, despite her previous appearances in Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft. She stands (or sits) at 24 inches tall, resting atop a diorama base featuring rugged rocks and twisting pine branches. It even comes with a sculpted version of her spirit owl, Dori’thur, which is perched alongside her on the statue. She’s framed in front of a full moon backdrop, which uses LED lighting to illuminate behind her. LED lighting also highlights both her and Dori’thur’s eyes with impressive detail.

Each statue comes with its own unique number and certificate of authenticity, adding extra value. The Warcraft Signature Tyrande statue costs $975, so it certainly doesn’t come cheap, but with the level of detail on display here, it’s safe to say buyers won’t feel short-changed adding this to their collection. With pre-orders open right now, the HEX Collectibles Signature Tyrande statues are not expected to ship until between January and March 2027.

Premium collectibles like this often only appeal to a very niche subsection of gamers, and with a $975 price tag, understandably so. However, it can’t be denied that HEX Collectibles is delivering serious quality for the money. The company is typically known for its anime statues with brands like Naruto and Dragon Ball, but it has recently unveiled its impressive Warcraft statue line and branched out with Blizzard. If they’re all this good, then long may it continue.
Since the release of World of Warcraft: Midnight, Blizzard has continued to release new updates for the expansion to improve the experience for players. However, it’s not clear when a new game in the franchise will arrive. This Signature Tyrande statue is great, but it doesn’t quite fill that void. With BlizzCon just around the corner, it will be interesting to see what the developer has up its sleeve for the future of the franchise.
